I ordered this because I manage a team that has a team member in a different time-zone, two hours off. This allows me to see at a glance what time it is for her. There are also two USB ports on the side so I've been using those to charge items like my Fitbit or illuminate my color changing sign. It does also have an alarm clock, though I don't use that function. I did test it out upon receiving it just to make sure it worked and it works just fine. There is also a backup battery (a small watch battery) that will allow the clock to keep the time if the power goes out, once it comes back on the time should still be accurate. I haven't had a need for that yet, but I can't see why that wouldn't work. Another feature I enjoy is that I can use military time. I learned that in high school in JROTC and it just stuck, personally I think it's easier than dealing with AM/PM. But to each their own - I just really appreciated I could set it to either option! ... show more

I really like the design of this clock. Looks great and is bright enough on Highest two settings to see during the day. But those two settings are way too bright at night...the lowest setting is perfect but too dim in daylight. I don't use the alarm but it seems easy enough should I ever want it.

I got this clock because I could not always see the time on my Alexa. It does show the time but it has some flaws Pros: * Easy to understand set up * Auto night dimming * Big numbers * 2 usb port hub/charging station Cons: * Light cheap plastic. A stiff breeze will knock it over * Reflective face. Winner of the useless feature of the year goes to a clock with a mirror front on it. Fingerprints are instant and visible on this * Setting time does not go up by 5’s or 10’s. Meaning you need to click it repeatedly for higher numbers End thoughts: it’s a cheap clock that tells time.
