I’ve read many bad reviews about this cultivator and I disagree with all of them. We have a homestead and we need a small cultivator. Most were expensive, IMO over priced. I liked the price of the TroyBuilt and have had experience with TroyBuilt in the past and had great luck. It arrived fast from Amazon and the cultivator was packaged well. Pull cord breaks after 2nd use. Hard to crank, won't stay running

    • Stupid design
Stupid design. 1) pull cord is on BOTTOM of power head; 2) throttle handle is so FAR out from handlebar grip can barely reach. Only way to hold both securely is to run unit WIDE a** open! Again stupid design. The older models were the opposite of this unit. Prepare to be frustrated if you buy this unit. ... show more

    • Broke in 60 minutes
I bought this tiller from Menards. broke within 60 minutes. Troy Bilt would NOT honor warranty. Menards did take it back but only after I had to pay a $69 diagnostic fee at the repair center and challenge them to take it back. Troy bilt used to be a decent name. Not anymore.

I used it one time and it broke no refunds are given for this rotor tiller. I received it the same day it stopped working

    • Piece of crab!
Did not start after total of about 8 hours of use. No warranty on carburator. Replacement of carburator costs $150!!! I thruw out to garbage my $229!

Have bought 2 of these in the last few years. The first one lasted 2-3 years and the tine drive shaft ate itself up. The last one was purchased 2 years ago and has been a total waste of money! Hard to start, won't run unless the choke is fully on and now will only run for a few minutes and then quits and won't restart no matter what. Save your money!! ... show more
