-It does have vents and a little handle -no magnet -Is collapsible, but not really sure what the purpose is other than to reduce storage, but I just leave it in the microwave -its about 8.5" in diameter -about 3.25" tall -Dishwasher safe It's a pretty thick and quality rubberish type of material. It's made it a long time without becoming brittle or melted. It is dishwasher safe. It is not the kind with a magnet so it won't stick to the new microwaves. Overall it does the job really well, the vents help prevent most stuff from getting trapped but they do let some splatter through. ... show more

I like the fact that it’s diameter is larger than the rotating glass dish the food sits on so it just sits still while the glass dish and food rotate. Also the overall height at its highest point covers the height of most food you’d put in a microwave.

I really like these collapsible microwave covers.I have larger ones from this brand so decided to give these a try. They cover my bowls and small plates nicely with no splatter.I have put them in the dishwasher and they come out clean.I find the thickness to be good but I do find it difficult to collapse the cover completely. I have to mess with the layers a bit to get them to lay flat but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Maybe with time & use this will improve.I bought the clear color and have not had any staining for red sauces. Overall, I’m happy with this product ... show more
