I failed to read the description and only read positive reviews. I also wasn't expecting to snowboard in the rain, so that definitely made for worse conditions. The gloves are warm as long as they aren't wet. However, it started raining here in the Poconos and their gloves were soaked and VERY VERY wet and cold. The water penetrated almost immediately. When we were boarding in the snow, it was fine, but once they got wet, it was over. Kids were miserable. Lesson learned. If you need waterproof, these are not for you. Dry, powdery snow, or just being in cold Temps, these are great, hence the 4 stars. ... show more
