Description

(Faber Piano Adventures ). Adult Piano Adventures Classics Book 1 celebrates great masterworks of Western music, including symphony themes, opera gems, and classical favorites. The melodies of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, and other master composers are arranged at just the right level for adult beginners and for those who are returning to the keyboard. Section 1 features piano arrangements with minimal hand position changes, and many selections include an optional duet part. Section 2 introduces the I, IV, and V7 chords in the key of C major, harmonizing themes such as Sibelius's Finlandia, Schubert's The Trout, and Mendelssohn's Spring Song. Section 3 presents the primary chords in the key of G major, with arrangements of Vivaldi's Autumn (from The Four Seasons), Mozart's theme from The Magic Flute, Lizst's Liebestraum, and more. • Thank you
I appreciate it’s good book and nice price

  • Good start on the basics
The pieces are arranged from simplest to more difficult, but all are within the grasp of beginning pianists. I found the easiest ones good for practicing sight reading. I am self-taught and have been playing a bit over a year.

  • Enjoyable and useful.
Really nice collection of easy classic arrangements. A bit uneven in level. Some are easier, turn the page and the next one may be much harder. My students like it.

  • Good book. Ideal for late beginners
The book is as stated and suits well for beginner piano students. The pieces are arranged for easy piano hand movements. The pieces are diverse and varied with different composers apart from the usual staple of Mozart,Beethoven,Bach . The book is really good and if I would have to raise an eyebrow, it would be for the optional 'Teacher Student duet' part that takes up half of the page, leaving just a couple of lines of actual music to play. This sort of makes the piece less tuneful as there are just a couple of notes to play. However apart from these diversions, the book is perfect for beginners or adult beginners new to the piano ... show more

  • Covers fall off
I love all of song books in the Piano Adventures series. The only reson I did not rate them as 5 stars is because the covers come off very soon after using. The lesson books can be purchased as spiral bound, but not these. A nusance.

  • Nice arrangements
Really better for suites for about halfway through the adult level 1 book and after it is finished. The arrangements are nice, but many of them aren't doable until you're nearly done with the lesson book.

  • Good sightreading fodder for intermediate players
Good sightreading fodder for intermediate players who need new material everyday to sightread. Just wish it was about 3 times as long.

  • Well organized and thoughtful content
This is a great book. Very good information, and written for an adult. Makes learning the piano straight forward.
