You’d have to have quite thin or short hair to have enough product for full head coverage. My hair is medium thick and shoulder length, and the box had enough product for less than a half of my head. So of course the outcome is ridiculous. A disaster that needs to be fixed. I think there used to be more product in the box. Shrinkflation! Anyway you will need two or more boxes if you have normal to thick hair and anything longer than a buzz cut.

I had reddish brown hair. It did lighten it quite a bit. Obviously still have brassy tones because of the red. If you have darker hair definitely will have to do it a few times to get desired color.

I bought 2 boxes for my shoulder length hair, and it was still not enough. Usually I get just ONE box of L'Oreal, and I have leftovers after using it. I don't know who measured that little amount, it would be enough only if you have a pixie cut with little to no hair. The smell was pleasant, and didn't irritate the scalp, it left my hair feeling silky. Giving 2 stars for a terribly small amount of processing ingredients. For my short hair I would need probably 4 boxes of this stuff to cover everything evenly, and at that price point I'd better be going to the stylist.

Excellent highlighter kit! I saw my roommate using this brand and she is natural blond but use this for root touch up and she encouraged me to buy it. I’m writing now since I tested it earlier and came out amazing! Now I used for my roots as baby highlighters and tomorrow will finish with the toner. I will post some pictures when done. Anyone can use this highlighter kit without worry. Doesn’t smell and results look like went to the hair salon. Perfect for quarantine!!!

It's hard to use - meaning most lightening systems like this are more liquid. The color is MUCH lighter than on the box. My hair processes quickly, so I left it on for the minimum amount of time. Will not buy this product again.

This lightened my hair better than I thought it would but if you have a lot of hair then you may want to get 2 boxes since one box wasn’t enough for my whole head of locs.

I believe this product is meant for natural, uncolored hair. I bought this to remove just a little of the old color from my hair and it did not make a difference.
