This vacuum is awesome. This is my first cordless vacuum. Yes, I've been living in the Stone age. It is great for the daily spot vacuuming and the more thorough weekly (or if you're busy, biweekly) deep cleans. The pros: It's cordless. It can go anywhere. It's light weight and maneuverable. With the attachment, I can get cobwebs easy ilyfrom the ceiling. It has a laser beam. This makes vacuuming fun and so much easier to see if I missed anything in poor lighting. Yes, it's now okay to vacuum with the lights off. It self empties every time you dock it. The docking station holds months worth of dust, dirt, hair and debris. Power is there when you need it. Max gets all the dirt out of our carpets - including the entryway ones. The brush head is tangle free. I mean it. No long thin blonde hair getting tangled in the head and needing to be cut out every week. My only small complaint is that when self emptying a lot of long hair into the docking station, some of it has a hard time releasing from the unit. I have to reach in and grab it every other empty. This is only an issue with hair 12 inches or longer and in fact actually entices me wash the stainless steel filter more often. Replacement batteries are available for the unit if/when the time comes which was important to me. Overall 4.9/5. I'd recommend it to anyone that has a spot for the dock.

A year & 6 mos… still truly loving this vacuum, BUT it has just stopped working. The brush is going, it’s fully charged , and the red battery light goes on and. It STOPS. I have probably had 12 Tinico bacuums and mops in the last decade. I am very hard on them. I run my vacuum cleaner and my mop two times a day if not more. So around this time, they usually stopped working for me so let’s see what kind of response I get from customer service and then I will be back with the review. 8 months after this review: still in love! So much so that I thought I should go and tell people that I’m still in love with this so they will know that they should buy this vacuum they will not be disappointed ! REVIEW: I’ve had a lot of Tinico vacuums and vac/mops. A serious love hate relationship. On one hand I love this brand. Everything about it is superior to Dyson price/suction/customer service/design. However, They don’t last me very long. A variety of issues arise and even though they have a good return/replacement policy.. I can’t go a 1/2 day without vacuuming ( kids and many foster pets that shed and shed and shed) so the time consuming return process is not optimum for me. I have a vac/mop right now that’s holding up pretty well but my standard vacuum had to go. The issues are not unique to b every cordless stick vacuum I’ve ever had has a flaw no one ever fixes. The inability to stop vacuuming and set the machine aside. upright. it I lean the vac up against a wall or a counter, only for it to slide down and smashes into the floor which usually breaks the canister off or those little tabs that click it back into place break and then I can’t put the canister back on. Or the door clasp gets cracked and the door swings open… dumping all the dirt on the floor just as I’m finishing. Nbgrrrrr so I set out to buy my 6th Tinico vacuum and figured maybe a higher end model.?? Then I saw the price $699!!! I mean, I have to vacuum and I vacuum so often that it’s a good investment for me, but I can’t justify that $$$ How can anyone justify that. Until I realized Amazon Prime Day was starting…At 50% off it was $311. Still expensive BUT these attributes might justify the cost …(If they worked as advertised. #1 a floor stand that will charge the vacuum as well as give it a place to park, right without having to screw something into the wall and Not having to wrangle cords around the other things in the utility area in order to plug the thing in. ( EXCELLENT… works great as advertised) #2 tangle free roller -they all say this, but honestly, I’ve not had that experience. I have long haired cats and long haired kids, and I am constantly taking hair out of the rollers ( EXCELLENT… not a single hair has been wrapped around the brush) #3 self cleaning cleaning apparatus. This one pretty much explains itself who doesn’t want to vacuum that will clean itself… CC C C I spend so much time cleaning my cleaning tools before cleaning my house.. if this works as advertised, it would be a game changer for me. (I am pleased to say it works! phenomenally I’ve not had a single problem with it) #4 green floor light HOLY COW! It’s a double edged sword without the light is like magic it illuminates every single speck of dust fur on your floor, so you can really get it all, but the problem is it illuminates every single speck of dust and dirt on your floor and I had no idea I was living in ignorance of how filthy my house truly is. All the things I loved in the description of the vacuum actually worked as advertised and I’m slightly obsessed with her.!! But no one can ever make a perfect vacuum so here are some things I don’t like. #1 Its really really loud. Oddly loud. Vacuums have gotten so quiet. This is like we’ve gone back decades and it almost sounds like a playing card stuck in a bicycle wheel. #2 the dust bin door isn’t designed to be opened by hand so it’s tricky to pry it open if you need to get in there.#3 only 2 speeds of suction. ( my last vac had 3 speeds and I’m constantly shutting the vacuum down accidentally cycling through the speeds. #4 the price… even on sale •*** it’s been 1 month and I LOVE her. The self cleaning feature is amazing! I never realized how much I dreaded cleaning and all the vacuum maintenance on the vacuum itself until I didn’t have to do it anymore. I’m not thrilled with how lboud it is, but the good outweighs the bad so much so that I would have gladly paid the the full retail value just to have this lovely machine.

Vacuum solves two major problems that I had in the past. 1) It cuts the hair on the bottom brush which is awesome. No more taking scissors cutting nasty stuff. 2) It dumps into the main unit after each use. This allows you to clean the main unit less often which is nice. The front light is fantastic for seeing things on the floor, however it is depressing to see all the dog/cat hair that is on your floor you don't notice without the light on. -1 Star for not being able to stand-up by itself (outside of charger/cleaner)

I loved this vacuum when we got it. Empties itself and shows us all the debris with a nice green light. However, it's been 3 weeks and the vacuum head is now not working. The light will not come on and there is no rotation. I've cleaned the roller and the connection ports. I've tried removing the longer connection piece to see if it was the problem. No luck. Will be reaching out to tineco, potentially returning it. Ideally we could just get this issue resolved because I did love the vacuum while it worked.

I bought the Tineco Pure One Station 5 to replace my old Dyson v11 which I had for several years. The self-cleaning feature and automatic emptying into the station is a huge quality of life improvement. I found that manually emptying the Dyson would often result in dust flying into the air, so having the the dust collect in a larger bin in the station saves time and makes the process more sanitary. I find myself less hesitant to start vacuuming because I don't have to worry about getting covered in dust afterwards. It doesn't come with many attachments, but it comes with the essentials - a slot-head attachment for vacuuming out crevices and picking up larger debris, and a brush head that works on both hardwood floors and carpets. I much prefer the combo brush head to either comparable option I had with the Dyson v11 - it's gentler on the floors than the Dyson brush and much lower maintenance than the fuzzy roller head. I have cats that product a lot of hair, as well as some large carpeted areas that produce lint, and so far I have not witnessed any tangling in the brush at all. It also has a felt pad underneath that wipes up any dust that is too small to get suctioned up, leaving the floor perfectly clean. This in combination of the detection laser makes it easy to keep track of where you've vacuumed already. Finally, the noise level is very tolerable. It is more of a low-frequency white noise sound than the high-frequency whine of the Dyson v11. My cats were terrified of the Dyson but don't really mind when I walk by with the Tineco vacuum. There are a few minor nitpicks I have, but none of them were enough to warrant losing a star. The first was that the tube that my vacuum came with was difficult to insert and remove from the main body of the vacuum when I wanted to swap attachments. However, I reached out to Tineco customer service, and they provided a replacement for free. So, the customer service is great, and the new tube fits much better! The second is that there is a small gap between the brush and the front of the brush attachment, so if you vacuum perpendicularly to a wall, there will be a small (maybe half inch) area that doesn't get cleaned as thoroughly. This only really matters for tiny dust particles that are impossible to see without the laser, since everything else gets sucked up, and you can still pick them up by vacuuming parallel to the wall. However this means that around corners, there may be some small pockets of dust. Finally, the vacuum head doesn't have any resistance to falling - e.g. when you lift the vacuum, the vacuum head will freely rotate downwards until it forms a straight line. When you are vacuuming stairs or uneven surfaces, this increases the effort because you need to lift the vacuum an extra 6 inches or so to clear the step up. Also, since the vacuum head has wheels, it means you can't really lean it against a wall and expect it to stand on it's own. The Dyson heads in comparison have some rigidity and a smaller range of motion, which I preferred. Overall though, this is a big step up from the Dyson v11, for around the same price. It's much more affordable than other current generation alternatives, especially those that include a station with the self-cleaning functionality, which is by far the biggest draw. I appreciate that everything works well and I am not paying for unnecessary frills.

The vacuum worked good for just over year, then the motor went out. Tineco said they were out of replacement motors (must be a common issue) but would send me one as soon as they were back in stock; that was 7 months ago. For $500, you can get a vacuum that lasts much longer than a year, so I cannot recommend this.

The Tineco Pure ONE Station 5 is honestly one of my favorite purchases. It’s super lightweight, cordless, and really easy to use, and the suction power is surprisingly strong. I love how the brush head moves at different angles—it just makes cleaning feel effortless. It does such a great job picking everything up, but my favorite part is the self-cleaning feature. You just put it back on the station and it automatically clears the dust and debris into the dustbin for you. No mess, no extra work—it’s amazing. Also, I have to say, the design is beautiful. I don’t even mind leaving it out in my living room because it actually adds to the space. Overall, 10/10—so glad I got it.

I love this product so much and highly recommend it to anyone who is still checking around different brands! It’s definitely worth the money. I have 2 cats in my apartment and they always make my floor and carpet dirty. I am super impressed that this vacuum cleaner by its light weight and powerful suction. And it works pretty well on both floors and carpet, good for those who worry about cat furs sticking in the carpet. The installation is pretty simple. Takes me 3 minutes. There are also some impressive features that I really appreciate: the green light at the front helps you check the dust on the floor. All functional buttons on the handle + lightweight + cordless design enables you to do the work with just one hand. The power station is great. It automatically transfers the dust into a super large container so you don’t have to clean it whenever after you use it.
