"I recently bought an older fixer-upper, and the carpets were in rough shape. I couldn’t afford the $400+ for a full-size professional extractor, so I’m using this Tineco spot cleaner to tackle the entire room. I’ll be honest: it is a slow, exhausting process. I’ve been working on it after my shifts for two days and I’ve only finished about 1/5 of the room. With a 5-hour charge giving only 20 minutes of cleaning time—and needing to empty the tanks 3 times in that window—it’s a test of patience. However, if you truly only have a small spot here or there, this machine is worth every single penny. The suction power is incredible, and as you can see from my photo, it pulls up years of deep-set grime that I thought was permanent. It’s giving me professional results on a budget; I just have to provide the sweat equity. It’s a struggle to do a whole room this way, but seeing that clean carpet finally peek through makes it worth the effort.
