I am 69 Years of Age and was initially in the market for a Riding Lawn Mower UNTIL I discovered Remote Control (RC) Mowers!!! I considered that the RCs would be a Safer Solution for Me since I don't walk or get around on my legs as well as I used to and without experiencing pain with each step. I found that there are MANY RC Mowers to choose from ... BUT they are not all the same. I settled on the more expensive Daredevil Brand due to: 1. Less Troublesome. Longer Lasting 'Brushless' Electric Motors. 2. Longer Lasting 'Heavy Duty' Gearboxes. 3. It's a 'Hybrid' where the Gasoline Engine turns an Alternator to keep the Batteries Charged for the Electric-Drive Trak-Motors. 4. Remote Controlled Blade/'Cutting Height'. 5. Works Very Well on 'Ground Dips' / 'Rough Ground'. There are some 'Brush', and some 'Tough Grass' located in various areas on my property that are difficult to impossible for me mow with a walk-behind self-propelled and are not safe enough areas to ride on a riding mower. NOTE: If you are mowing your yard with the Daredevil, make Straight-Runs Forwards then Backwards instead of making U-Turns because the Cleats on the Tracks will chew the ground and things up. I take advantage of these Cleats by doing circles in certain places where there are some dirt-mounds that need leveling out ... (i.e. loosen the dirt and let the wind take it from there). Additionally: For my More Delicate Areas of My Yard, I utilize the Battery-Powered Mowrator S1 4WD with the Fast-Charge 18 Amp Hour Lithium Battery ... (it has semi-smooth wheels, its half the weight of the Daredevil, it doesn't tear up the yard on U-Turns, and it too is remote controlled. With both these RC Mowers, there is little or No Dust to breath in when upwind ... and a lot Less Sweating. Happy Mowing!!!

Yes, this thing is pricey, but it also tackled everything I threw at it. This thing is a tank. It handled 4-foot-tall weeds easily. The mower got bogged down a couple of times and killed the engine, but the weeds were extremely dense when that happened and that will happen with any mower. Can it handle your slope? most likely. My slope exceeded 45 degrees in some places and it tackled it. I kept pushing the limit of this thing because it easily handled everything I put it through until I tried to make it go almost completely verticle, at which point I rolled it. The roll bar is there for a reason. I flipped it over, started it up, and kept on mowing. It sipped the gas too. I mowed about 1/2 an acre of a flood control easement, down one side and up the other, and it didn't use 2 gallons of gas. It's not a speed demon, but it'll get the job done. I learned early to go up and down the hill, never across the hill. I am extremely impressed.

They offer a great product and customer service. I had a small problem with a pully reached out to them directly in Texas by calling the phone number on their website. Part was shipped out immediately issue taken care of. They respond quickly to emails and phone calls both. These are not speed racers and are not intended to be for safety reasons. They do cut great and work well in tight places does take a little getting used to the remote. Please make sure to scan the QR code on the mower that has a link to all the videos and manuals and such or give them an email and they will send you the link. ***If you are reading all the reviews, please note the Bad ones are not from verified purchases. Just a little something I noticed. ***

The only reason I'm giving this item a four star is because the charger did not come with the unit. Per the instruction book a charger is supposed to be included. When I checked my spare parts bag, the charger wasn't in it. I did receive all the other spare parts per the instruction booklet. The mower runs and cuts fine, but I wish the charger was included in the gray spare parts bag. I've been out of town for work the last month and didn't get to unbox it until today.

Sadly, I had to return this mower. The remote control, a cheap, fragile, generic model for remote controlled toys, failed to adequately control the mower. This was a safety issue. The mower itself was good. I had a bit of difficulty pairing the remote due to the emergency stop switch being broken at delivery. A very helpful lady with customer service guided me through rewiring that switch to bypass it, but then it was also necessary to change a number of settings in the remote. Successful pairing was finally achieved on day one. On day two I mowed 30” woody grass and even 12” gamble oak that was regrowing since my last brush cutting exercise. This machine mowed with authority on rough uneven slopes of up to 60 degrees. I stalled it a couple of times, but it started right up again. The ability to move the mower under battery electric power without the engine running is a significant benefit. Operating this mower hands off is so much safer than wrestling my brush mower! I subtract one star for the broken switch and pairing difficulties, otherwise this is a five star machine.

The media could not be loaded. Handles slopes well, front, back, side to side. No issues with operating. Instructions take a little common sense, but not too difficult. If you have a slope that you are tired of mowing or weedeating, I'd give this a hard look.
