I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the 1 star review that aren’t even verified purchaser specially them mentioning the remote being charged when you don’t even charge that because you’re using four AA battery. I used to use a rope to attach to one of my mowers to cut the grass on my slopes because my ride mower was too dangerous. This mower is also very durable with zero problem so far. This machine is very slow and I also noticed a bolt was missing when I finished cutting the grass. It took us twice as long to cut the grass and the tracks tore our lawn. The throttle keeps moving back to low position which causes the mower to kill often. The tracks will not allow you to get close to a fence so you will have extra trimming as well. The remote does not charge automatically even though it shows a green light and uses 4 AA batteries which you need to change every 4-5 hours of use. Dare Devil Mowers in Texas were Very Professional and Helpful Throughout the Buying Process. Estes who delivered the Mower was as well Very Professional, not to mention Mower arrived promptly from time that i ordered it. So far the mower does exactly as it is supposed to do. The media could not be loaded. This makes it fun to mow! The Spyder is awesome, you get to play and work at the same time. I usually grab my chair and a beer and take care of the hill around me. It's not too noisy, it seems to climb over anything. Mows down very tall and thick weeds. More like a brush hog than a "lawn mower". I use the tracks and turning to loosen up the dirt that's uneven. I got the snow blade also, maybe I'll try the snow someday, but it works for dirt and gravel too. Rocks haven't been to bad but I did get a big one today, just a bend in the blade as expected. Don't forget to do regular maintenance and check and tighten nuts and bolts, just like any equipment. Don't wait just order it, you know you want one! ... show more

I bought this mower to mow a steep hill side at our church. It does a great job mowing the hill but is a little slow. Also a little hard controlling the direction of the mower, it drift to either to the left or right while trying to go straight.
