UPDATE: I love this pan so much I bought another one in purple just in case something happens to my pink one. Needles to say I am very happy with my purchase. I love this pan and can't say enough about it!!! It heats fast and evenly so everything cooks at the same rate not just what's closest to the center. Clean up is a breeze. The pressure valve in the cover does come out easily but is not the issue some reviews are making it out to be. I just put it back in the cover...no big deal. The size is great. Wide enough to do 4 chicken breasts and deep enough to make soup. The spatula included is of substantial weight and feels good in your hand. The removable handle so it can go into the oven adds to the versatility of this pan. The heat sensor in the handle is nice too making it easy to know when the pan is hot enough to get a nice sear on the meat. I bought the pink. I love that I had a choice of colors. All this and a reasonable price too? Very happy with my purchase!!! ... show more

The pan is fine and works well for all intended circumstances. The steamer is a great idea. However the pressure thingy that takes up the hole in the pan lid is beyond my comprehension as it serves no purpose but to fill the hole. It does not allow any pressure buildup and pressing it to vent excessive pressure is just pointless. It is a gimick but one that has little or no consequence. ... show more

I received this pan as a gift from a close friend for my birthday because I love purple. The funny part is, it's an awesome pan. It's sturdy, well-made, and functional. I've made Spanish rice, chicken, eggs, and steamed buns in it. Nothing sticks, and it's easy to clean. it has now become my favorite pan and more than worth the money.     • Use it More Than I Thought I Would

I bought it to steam dumplings in and I do use it for that. It also works good for steaming pita bread and would work well for steaming hot dog/hamburger buns. Have not tried steamed veggies yet but I plan to try that too. Cleans up nicely.
