I installed 2 of these at our place in the mountains. They perform WAY better than the floor-standing propane patio heater we had before, and the operating cost is less than half. Plus, no more changing tanks and one less obstruction to our view. My setup is a 50A circuit at the box, 8 gauge wire to a sub panel with 2-30A circuits to feed each heater with 10AWG wire. We bought 2 for the walls. One started going on and off on its own and no longer works. Its defective after buying it 6 months ago. Mow i am waiting for the other one to go out. I have no way to contact the seller for a replacement.

This works best hanging from an eave or near the top of the wall and omg does it work. This is exactly what I needed on my front porch bc I take care of neighborhood strays and I was so worried about the cold temps coming and now I can provide a warming shelter for them on my porch. You need good wiring for this as it's heavy duty 4500W. But it's worth it. ... show more
