This new mat came with adhesive strips and Velcro to attach it to my destroyed first mat. I really like it as it will take a long time for the cat to destroy it and it is very pretty and has finished edges. Attractive and well made. I also got a replacement post for cat's scratching post that he destroyed. Good replacement. I had him watch me replace the post so he knew what was going on and would accept the new post He would not use a triangular new scratching post I bought him. When I first opened the package I was so happy. The mat is well made. The tape seemed good, but it doesn't stick to the furniture or wall. Initially stuck, but immediately when the cat tried to use it the mat flopped to the floor. Sticks VERY well to the hardwood floor, though. Small for the floor. Cat just doesn't use it that way.
