All my cats love this litter box! Highly recommend and definitely worth it! I have used several automatic litter box and this one is the best so far. It is very easy to setup and the instruction sheet is very clear. The open top design leaves a lot of spaces for my chunky cats. The side-way rotation makes it a lot easier to clean, as all the parts that could touch the poopies are accessible. It is very quiet during cleaning and you can control the cleaning delay easily through the app. It traps the smell entirely in the box underneath, and the box takes about 25 cleans to fill up. The litter box worked for 2 days. Within 2 days, it stopped measuring the cats weight or that they were even in the box. It routinely gets stuck in cleaning mode and has to manually be overridden and forced back to its normal position. It is small and doesn’t accommodate well for cats. Wish I had bought this sooner. I have had it for a few months and have had no issues. All 3 of my cats were using it within a week. I haven't had the issues that others customers have talked about. This saves me on litter and so much time. I also received a good amount of bags. Took me some time to figure out what to set the empty bin alert to because I had one cat who liked to watch it empty and was trying to figure out where his deposit went...lol. other than that keep the rotation clean and it works great ... show more

This automatic cat litter box is absolutely not self cleaning. I bought two of these several months ago. I spend at least five hours a week cleaning each one. I bought a third one of an almost identical design. It has similar problems. I am a retired rocket scientist, with lots of time on my hands. For me, the extra time cleaning is not a huge problem. However, if I had the money, I would have bought a much better automatic cat litter box. This design has many issues. One key factor is that since it is plastic, the plastic materials absorb odors which are very difficult to remove. There are other serious problems. The grate that sorts the litter from the poop has way too large of slots. The bottom toilet piece has a coating which starts deteriorating after a few months. It has seams which are difficult to clean adequately. In the drum there are many areas with seems and crevices which collect stinky stuff. If a person is on a budget and has lots of free time this automatic cat litter box may be the only viable option. I hope to upgrade to better designed automatic litter boxes as soon as I can afford to do so. ... show more

Wanted to give this purchase a 9 star, 'cause it is a super litter box. BUT, got some false advertising. Description states that the box was XL for large kitties, which excited me since we have 4 Maine Coons, all weighing 20 or more pounds and a Siamese who weighs in at 24 pounds. The problem?? The big kitties are tooo big for the box. Either there front body parts are over the edges or their rear parts are over the edge, so I have to keep using the standard XL litter box - you know, normal daily litter sifting. With those five, I "sometimes" have to sift twice a day. But, this litter box is super - quiet, efficient, is used constantly and only has to be cleaned every three days (7 cats using regularly). Minimal litter replacement which cuts down on the amount of litter purchased weekly. I like it. ... show more

This was the greatest invention since ice cream!! At first, Tabitha was not too sure of it, but I finally got her to try it. When she was through, and it started to "flush", it scared her but she watched it go through the process from the living room. When it was done, she slowly went back and she looked inside. Then she started put the litter around it her paw. Then she looked under it and around it and back to look inside. She looked at me and I was laughing so hard she looked at me like "What's so funny! It took my poop!" She uses it regularly but still is fascinated with the "flushing". I saves my back from having to scoop and gives me entertainment too. ... show more
