I was worried my cats might be afraid to use an enclosed smart box, but the spacious, open layout made the transition completely seamless for them. They took to it right away! The odor control is genuinely fantastic—you wouldn't even know there is a litter box in the room. It operates quietly, smoothly sifting the litter and depositing the waste into the sealed bin. The bin easily holds a week's worth of waste, making it perfect for busy weeks or short trips away. The app integration is the cherry on top. It’s incredibly intuitive, allowing you to track your cats' bathroom habits, adjust the cleaning settings, and monitor the waste bin capacity right from your phone. Plus, the built-in safety sensors are highly responsive, giving me total peace of mind that the cleaning cycle will never start while a cat is inside. I saw the great reviews and thought I finally found one that works! Well, boy was I wrong! I loved the WiFi setup and app access with stats, etc. But this drawer is way too small and so is the “pathway” to the drawer. My cats urinate as giant patties (they drink a lot - fountain). 90% of the time, the patties get stuck in the pathway, requiring me to dig them out. Also, the tray goes full every 3 days, with two average sized house cats. At least the one I had before this, lasted 6 mos before dying, but it was fairly consistently working well. The noise level on this is great and the tech is promising. But, the design is horrible. Also, the cats kick the litter out every time they use it. I’m returning this. It requires more attention than a standard litter box! I really wanted this to work for us, but I guess my search continues. If you have a single, miniature cat, this may work. Otherwise, don’t bother.

I’ve been using this Thereye self-cleaning litter box for a bit now, and I can honestly say it’s made a huge difference in my daily routine. I used to dread scooping the litter every day, but now it pretty much takes care of itself, which is such a relief. It keeps things a lot cleaner and helps with odor way more than I expected. Our cat likes this litterbox. It took a few days to get used to it, but now he likes it. It keeps us from scooping the poop and clumps of urine. I recommend the Thereye self cleaning litterbox with the open top.
