The media could not be loaded. I have been debating on purchasing a desk treadmill but could not justify since have a treadmill... came across this genius creation made by TFD Store. Extremely well made! Sturdy! Does what it intends to do! I tried walking and running with no device on top first to ensure I had enough room to walk/run on the treadmill with attachment - I am 5'11" and no issues plenty of room with the treadmill desk attachment. I put laptop on and it didn't slide off or even jiggle off. I do feel it is priced a little high but on the flip side is cheaper than buying a whole new walking treadmill. I am beyond thrilled! Thank you TFD Store for creating this! I now can work and walk!!! Highly recommended.

I had a couple hours of work to do at home last night, so that was the perfect opportunity to try this treadmill desk out. The first positive was that it was actually wide enough to fit my treadmill; I previously had tried a different desk that was too short. This one rested on the arms nicely, though, and was easy to secure with the velcro straps. I set the treadmill to 2 miles/hour and walked for 2 hours while working on my laptop. One big thing that I noticed pretty quickly was that the laptop needed to be higher up; I was having to hunch over to type and that was pretty uncomfortable. This is not a fault of the desk itself, as it is going to install at the same height as the treadmill's arms... but it is a recommendation that you place something on top of the desk to raise the work surface up to a more comfortable height (I'm 5'9" and needed to raise it up about 8 inches). I have a larger (but not supersized) treadmill and I still had plenty of space to comfortably walk on the treadmill with the desk installed (i.e. it didn't push me too far to the back end of the belt). If you have a shorter treadmill, though, a desk (of any kind) probably won't work out as it reduces the belt space that you can walk on. This desk also has a slot cut into to hold a writing utensil, so it doesn't roll off due to the vibrations from the treadmill, as well as a designated location to place a beverage container so that it doesn't slide off. Those are both nice touches. Once I find the perfect riser to place on top of this desk to get my computer up high to work on it comfortably, I will be using this desk regularly.

I had no idea how much I would love this. It's a pretty simple thing: basically a piece of plexiglass cut with smooth edges, a cup holder a pen holder and slots for the Velcro loops. Even as simple as it is, there are a lot of well thought-out design functions in it. The curve, the smooth edges, the Velcro placement, the size, the cup holder and the pen holder. It's relatively lightweight so easy to tote to a gym or workout room. It's fairly easy to store too if you don't have your own treadmill like me. But to be able to walk while working is really amazing. I found I could reach the stop/start buttons and emergency cord on the treadmill easily over the desk. I like that it's curved so easier to walk against. I love the holders - so great to have when working. Nothing will roll off or roll away. This is such a great piece to have for anyone wanting to move while having to do computer work.

I like this in concept... the idea that perhaps I could multitask while getting in my steps seems like a good idea, but is it really safe. The answer depends on the individual user and how good you might be at walking or running on your treadmill without holding on, because this desk surface (perhaps depending on your treadmill) does tend get in the way of being able to effectively hold onto the treadmill handles. Sure you can reach forward further to the other handle set, but that may not be as comfortable. Yes, you could grab the edge of the desk surface, but image this scenario... Have you ever been on your treadmill and momentarily lost your balance? You instinctively reach for side handles, which are now covered by this desk and strapped to those handles. The included Velcro straps can only be so tight. If you grab the edge of the desk and pull back some, the desk can slide right off of the handles. I will concede that it appears to be made of durable material and looks nice, but I don't think it is worth the price. As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I confess I paid nothing for this, but had I paid the full $80, I'm sure I would have regretted it.

This tray is a great idea. I like to read or watch shows while I'm on the treadmill and used to hang my iPad precariously off the handle bar. It took me a few minutes to figure out the straps but that is likely my velcro-challenged mind. There's a slot for a pen and a place to set a drink but the configuration of my treadmill handles makes the drink slot unusable because it sits too far under the handle. It came well-packaged and both sides of the heavy acrylic were sealed with a heavy kraft paper sticky covering you had to peel off. That's one thing that also gave me a little trouble, it was so well-adhered that I had a hard time finding a spot to start peeling it off. I used a razor blade to score a small place to get an edge to peel and left a mark on the acrylic so beware of doing that. A really great idea and glad to have gotten this tray!
