Adjustable and sturdy enough. Makes it easier to multitask and gives you no reason to not get on your treadmill. I have set up my laptop but would not recommend adding much more weight to it a at one time.

    • Doesn't fit all treadmills
This is a wide clear piece of plexi-glass that has grooves and cutouts for a drink, book, or phone. The piece sits on top of your treadmill arms area. Unfortunately it didn't fit on my treadmill so be sure to measure your treadmill width, and the areas where it sits. Would make a great addition though! ... show more

This comes nicely packaged, however the protective paper was quite difficult to remove. Once I had it ‘started’ to come off, it was relatively easy to remove but it took me a little bit to find an edge to lift. It comes with straps to attach it to the side arms of the treadmill and even has an indented slot for a drink, which was nice. I have an extra large laptop and the space left was still decent. I was able to walk comfortably while listening to a meeting, but I would not be able to type if I ever needed to do so. I am about 5’6” and this is too low for me to comfortably type. I would either have to stop the treadmill or stand on the sides to stand still while bending and steadying to type. Looking at the screen is possible, not incredibly comfortable, but possible. I wouldn’t want to watch a power point presentation for any length of time. Also, because of the location of the treadmill controls, I have to close the lid of the laptop to access them, which isn’t a deal breaker for me, but something to note. All in all, this is the closest I will come to have a ‘treadmill desk’. ... show more

I had a couple hours of work to do at home last night, so that was the perfect opportunity to try this treadmill desk out. The first positive was that it was actually wide enough to fit my treadmill; I previously had tried a different desk that was too short. This one rested on the arms nicely, though, and was easy to secure with the velcro straps. I set the treadmill to 2 miles/hour and walked for 2 hours while working on my laptop. One big thing that I noticed pretty quickly was that the laptop needed to be higher up; I was having to hunch over to type and that was pretty uncomfortable. This is not a fault of the desk itself, as it is going to install at the same height as the treadmill's arms... but it is a recommendation that you place something on top of the desk to raise the work surface up to a more comfortable height (I'm 5'9" and needed to raise it up about 8 inches). I have a larger (but not supersized) treadmill and I still had plenty of space to comfortably walk on the treadmill with the desk installed (i.e. it didn't push me too far to the back end of the belt). If you have a shorter treadmill, though, a desk (of any kind) probably won't work out as it reduces the belt space that you can walk on. This desk also has a slot cut into to hold a writing utensil, so it doesn't roll off due to the vibrations from the treadmill, as well as a designated location to place a beverage container so that it doesn't slide off. Those are both nice touches. Once I find the perfect riser to place on top of this desk to get my computer up high to work on it comfortably, I will be using this desk regularly. ... show more

    • Great Addition to a Treadmill!
I love this treadmill desk attachment! It's incredibly sturdy, make of thick acrylic, and easily attaches to the treadmill. I don't have multiple treadmills to test the fit on, but it works well on my NordicTrack treadmill. The elastic holds the attachment solidly, and it adds a surprising amount of flexibility and functionality to my treadmill! The desk came well-packaged, including a paper-like protective covering to further protect the attachment surface -- which was easily removed. Since attaching the desktop, I've used it several times without any issue -- it doesn't move with the treadmill's motion, and doesn't hinder my movement or access to the treadmill's controls. It's a very nice addition that opens up my walking time to a lot of different activities! ... show more

I ordered the TFD 34" Universal Treadmill Desk Tray Attachment. This tray is constructed of high quality, thick acrylic. It arrived very nicely, with protective stickers adhered to both sides in order to prevent scratching of the acrylic. These stickers take a little time to remove, but I appreciate the protection this detail provides. The tray fits my treadmill nicely. I could foresee a myriad of uses for this tray, besides just your treadmill. Perhaps use additionally as a tray table if eating dinner on your couch, or serving someone breakfast in bed. It is thick acrylic--not flimsy at all--and could easily be multipurposed. ... show more

    • Very sturdy, easy to put on
This strapped on to my treadmill, holds tight and made it easy to work and walk. It is just a piece of thick plexiglass so its nothing fancy, but for this price and how easily it was to put on and take off I was very happy with it!
