Now I am just a shade tree mechanic but I do just about everything to my own vehicles and I have used other non-articulating camera systems that bluetooth into your phone, but this is a whole new level. Out of the box this camera is easy to use. Some of the finer features you have to figure out. The thumb wheel for articulation is intuitive and easy to use. The camera lights put out enough light to see into the darkest recesses and the resolution is good enough to make out the finer details. The articulation of the end is what makes this unit special. I have used it to look at small spaces, hidden electrical connections and most recently tracking down an oil leak on my Son's diesel truck. Some of the weirder things I have used it for is dryer vent inspection and running some wires through a wall with a fish tape (they were stuck and this let me see what was happening). The display is bright enough to see in daylight and the display and articulation can be run by one hand while the other controls the location of the main camera. As far as charge duration I have never been able to run it out even when using it for multiple hours on end. Next I am going to use it to inspect the cylinder walls on my turbocharged flat 4 engine.

Picked up this borescope for checking out tight spots in my car engine and it's been quite helpful. The dual lens feature is legit, gives you a good look at what's going on in there without having to do mental gymnastics. The screen's clear, and the camera bends where you need it to. Battery life's decent too. It's a bit on the pricier side for a hobbyist tool, but if you're into keeping your gear running smooth, it's a good buy. Just be careful with the cable; it's flexible but feels like it might not take kindly to being yanked around.
