Is it flashy? No. Is it trying to hide the fact that it’s the Clark Kent of solid-state drives? Absolutely. For just over $50, you're getting 550MB/s read and 500MB/s write speeds—which isn’t so much “bleeding edge” as it is “respectable commuter in the SSD subway.” It’s got 3D NAND, SLC caching, and a form factor so humble it could pass as an undercover thumb drive in witness protection. Look, we all know these SSDs are cheap, and yes they're QLC, but here's the deal...if you're the average laptop user, IE web browsing, email, Facebook...these MASSIVELY speed up a cheap laptop or desktop that has a spinning hard drive. They fit anywhere a 2.5" drive fits, and you can replace 3.5" with them too. They're reliable enough to last several years with everyday use. ... show more

This is a fast hard drive, works great. I tried it in on one PC and the bios was too old, would not recognize the drive. Tried it on a newer machine and it works perfect. So make sure your machine can run this if it is old system. Easy to install and the drive is silent of course.
