Easy install at our cabin. Works great. Previous cheap hwh wouldn’t allow us to shower but this one cranks it out. Not sure if I would use it in a house installation but for our cabin it’s perfect. Only in use for 3 weeks now.

I live in an older house that had a tank heater. I'm not the handy type so I hired someone to install this. She said that it was a pretty standard fit, it only took a couple hours for the whole instillation. I think getting the old one out was harder than getting this one in. Once in, she showed me how to use the settings and it couldn't be easier. There's a digital screen and seasonal settings so you don't use more energy than necessary in the warmer months. All the seals work perfectly, there's no leakage whatsoever. The overall temp can be set higher or lower. On the highest settings it can actually burn it gets so hot, so I have it somewhere near 3/4 of the max range. I like that I can turn it higher any time but I doubt I'll ever need to. The hot water output is immediate and expansive. I have a shower on either end of the house with the kitchen in the middle. As soon as it was installed I turned all three taps on and each one spit out hot water immediately. I left all three on for 10 mins just to see how it performed and none of them cooled at all in that time. I used to have to wait til the dishwasher was done to run laundry because my last heater couldn't cover that much water usage at the same time. That is not the case anymore! I could run hot water from every tap in my home at the same time without problem. I love that! So far this is my favorite upgrade to my new home, I just love how much easier it's making all of life. Great purchase and comparatively inexpensive.

So far just spits out an E1 ignitor fail error message. Every possible issue has been double checked. Vent, water, propane pressure. Fan comes on but doesn't light. No spark sound. Will gladly update if the issue can be resolved. Contractor installed. 😫

If you don't know what you're doing you may need to hire someone to install this, but if you're any kind of a DIY you should have no problems getting this up and running in little to no time. Works great and functions flawlessly. Steady temperatures, and plenty of settings. It's slightly larger than I was expected, but it doesn't surprise me given that it is such a quality piece of equipment. Good water flow and compatible with my current piping. Installation will be the only hangout for some people, but for most it's not an issue at all. Here’s my rating scale for products: 1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again. 2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better. 3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can't find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed. 4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This item met my expectations. 5 Stars: I love this product and would highly recommend to friends & family. Additional Information: As a Vine reviewer, I know that people depend on these early revies as I to depend on reviews when shopping on Amazon. I fully intend to give honest insights

We had an old Bosch tankless heater that started leaking and instead of getting it repaired, it was far cheaper to get this NEW one and put it in. This one works much better and there are multiple settings so that you can use less gas in the warmer months and more in the winter months. It was quite simple to do if you are somewhat handy - especially if you are replacing an old one as most of the fittings are already there. I opened up the unit to see inside (see photos here) and you can see that the construction is simple yet good quality - lots of copper for good heat exchange. This unit can easily supply 2-3 bathrooms hot water simultaneously - so you can potentially cover an entire house by just this unit. I got 2 of them so I can switch back and forth as needed just in case of emergencies (one goes down) or when I am cleaning scale that builds up from the house water (which I do every 6 months). This was less than a 1/4 price of the Bosch unit I replaced - just a no brainer deal.

READ THE MANUAL THOROUGHLY BEFORE PURCHASING.!!! This is NOT EASY TO INSTALL. If you don’t want to hire a plumber I hope you know someone that can do the work on the side. You need to have regulators(both water and propane), bypass valves, a LOT OF WALL SPACE(both for the piping and the unit). I like to think that I’m able to do MOST home installation and repair work myself, however, I DON’T RECOMMEND FOR DYI. I got this to install in my 5th wheel RV and it is not a feasible install.
