So i had originally written this review because i was un happy and then customer service reached out several times to try and fix my issues. I was very pleased with Sara, and her trying to replace mine but I'm not in need of it anymore as I went a different direction. If I did get an exchange I am sure it would have been a quick process. She was persistent with helping me get my refund, and I appreciated her patience with me. When living in my 5th wheel and we finally figured this thing out and first started using it, it was amazing! A nice hot shower in the middle of the woods was the greatest. Also re writing this review was not required to get my refund. Im not sure where all the good reviews came from but this machine was not worth the money. My other half ordered this and I wish I would have stopped him. I was so confused on putting this together, then I had to hook it up to my truck to shower, and the water would not stay warm it was either freezing cold or scolding hot. A few times it stopped working as I'm mid shower. My other half had to redo something to get the water flowing..this was just overall not worth the hassle and I wish I would have returned it because now it sits on a shelf in storage and won't be used again. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I mounted this unit to the door of my camping / cargo trailer conversion for easy use . It works great . Install was easy . This will be great for family camping and kayaking trips . 10/10 recommend 👍🏻 . Basic handyman skills required .

After writing the company about some misleading information on what to do with the product when temps fall below freezing level, they quickly replied and addressed the situation by sending us a new unit (ours broke from a freeze and was unrepairable). We love this product when functioning as it should. We use as an outdoor shower for guests at our treehouse Airbnb and get amazing reviews about the ease of use and water pressure. I bought the upgraded package that includes the water pump. No directions on how to use it. No customer service assistance. Turns out I need to buy wiring, a fuse, an on/off switch, battery and clamps to hook to the battery to power it. Not camping friendly at all.

Update: 02/26/'20 Camplux finally got a hold of me after posting my first review; they had to verify my address which was originally incorrect and probably my fault. After that they sent me a brand new unit. Unfortunately it took over a month to get the issue resolved. FWIW, the new unit is exactly like the old one (except for graphics and appearance) so I will be reinforcing all of the little internal mounting points with high temp silicone. Purchased this unit in March'19. Didn't install it in my camper van until 3 months later but it worked as advertised. I mounted it on a piece of 3/4" Baltic Birch using all the mounting points but within about 5 months I noticed some clanging sound coming from the unit. When I checked it I found the two upper tabs that secure the heat exchanger to the housing had broken below where they were fastened to the housing with tiny metal screws. I contacted the company through Amazon then heard from them directly with them assuring me it had a 1 year warranty and asking for pictures and my shipping address. That was the end of Jan '20 and nothing, even after an email asking for an update last week. I've gotten accustomed to hot water for showers, etc. so I guess I'll "mcgiver" ist back together and see how long it lasts. Needless to say when it fails again I won't be replacing it with the Camplux brand. BTW, the little pump is quite noisy but adequate. I'll replace that with something better when it fails as well. ... show more
