Purchased this camera to replace my Bog trail camera. This camera is great! So many useful features. The app is intuitive and easy to use. Set up instructions for the camera are clear and easy to follow. I was worried that it might be difficult to set up the cellular connection to the camera. But it absolutely was not. When you turn the camera on for the first time, it scans and automatically chooses the strongest cellular network. In my case it was US cellular. I did have to run the cellular connection set up twice because it failed the first time. But it was still super easy to do and cellular performance has been rock solid ever since. I really like that you can customize the camera. If you don’t want to pay any subscription fees at all, you can simply stick in an SD card and you are good to go. To get any of the more “elevated” features (on-demand live video, unlimited photo and video storage, etc.) you will need to subscribe to one of the manufacturer’s subscription plans. I thought the subscription fees were reasonable. But I can see how it could get expensive if you own more than one of these cameras. Anyway highly recommend this trail camera. One last recommendation: by the three pack of lithium ion batteries sold here on Amazon. If you try to buy it through the company that made the camera, they will charge you $49 for one battery, when you can get three on Amazon for about $55 for the bundle.

Blown away by these cameras. Tons of features and great photos. I’ve got them connected to the solar panels in the woods without any direct sunlight and they are staying at 100%. Initially these cameras are expensive but in my opinion they are worth the money.

Excellent game cameras. I WAS going to give 4 stars because this is a 3x. I wanted a higher quality, regular Ultra. But the cameras and the company support are fantastic! So, 5 stars. The Reveal cameras did not clarify the difference between an Ultra 3X and an Ultra. I guess it is buyer beware. They are great cameras. They came packaged very well. I called them for support. They answered all my questions....and more. With the information they sent me, I realized my mistake. No problem, because they are good cameras. They are strapped to trees 15 feet above ground. They work great. Be sure to cut ALL limbs and leaves that are in the picture screen! I ordered 3 Reveal Ultras, because I can see videos with them. Excellent company.

So I waited a couple months to write this review to see if maybe I was missing something but turns out my first impression was unfortunately correct, these do definitely NOT live up to the hype, first of all the "live view" takes so long to load (and I have full bars on both cameras) that by the time it loads whatever was there is long gone. Second, the pic quality is pretty good but not any better than a $40 camera from Walmart in my opinion. Third is the subscription model, the yearly cost isn't any worse than any other brand, BUT to have access to all the features the camera is capable of requires another MONTHLY subscription which is nonsense, folks that buy this type of camera buy it to have all the features available for one price, at least thats what I expected. Lastly is the battery life, extremely disappointing to say the least. 2 weeks max on disposable batteries when it's set to send on every trip, so I spend more money to buy the rechargeable battery packs with the expectation they will keep a charge for an extended amount of time.....nope not the case....lasts about a month before needing recharged with an average of 5 pics per day sent instantly, you can get maybe an extra week from a charge if you set it to send once a day but still not worth the cost in my opinion. Summary I sincerely wish I had not spent the money on these, I am so much happier with my Meidase brand cell cameras bought from Amazon also, regular disposable batteries last almost all season sending on each snap, cost of each camera is quite a bit less, subscription costs are a little less but one price gets all features included, granted it doesnt have live view but thats pretty much useless anyway even if you pay the $9 a month per camera or whatever it is. In 3 years I've never had one single issue with any of the 6 Meidas cameras I have. My next try is a Eufy solar powered cellular security camera with remote control, from what I hear those are awesome, I already have the Eufy WiFi security system and love it so I have high hopes for the solar camera! Hope this review helps someone to decide what they want to try, good luck all!
