I bought three of these. I replaced my system from Amcrest to UniFi. I love Ubiquiti products. Products are professional and reasonably priced. I replaced my turret Amcrest cameras with this UniFi 2k camera. Front door, patio and garage. It had a slight 10% wider angle than Amcrests 8M 4k turret cam. Easier to install and plenty of settings to work with my NVR settings. eBay and the actual UniFi website goes for $129 or more.     • Just buy it. Quality, Simple, Effective
This is my second time purchasing this camera, our home is up to 10 cameras now that protect our perimeter. After years of playing with wifi based camera security systems I can't tell you how happy I've been with the Ubiquiti cameras. I've had my home system for about 3 years with Ubiquiti and i have 7 of their cameras mounted outdoors in the Arizona sun for multiple years and these devices just keep on going. I can't speak highly enough about the Ubiquiti systems. Easy to administer, easy options to customize your experience. I installed an NVR for the veterans resource center that I volunteer at and the remote monitoring makes it an amazing option for small businesses and for home use. If you've ever had a battle with your Homeowners Association this is how I've defeated them on multiple accounts. I've been accused of parking on the street over night, pulled footage and sent screenshots, that shut them up. If you're shopping for this product I don't need to sell you on security cameras, but if you're on the fence between this kind of system and a wireless based IOT camera system I promise you, your connectivity issues will all fade away into a distant bad memory when you install wired cams. Replaced an older outdoor camera with the G5 Turret Ultra and the difference was immediately noticeable. Video quality is crisp, motion detection is accurate, and integration with UniFi Protect is seamless. I especially like the compact turret form factor because it looks less bulky than traditional bullet cameras. I love that Ubiquiti products are so simple to plug-and-play. I've bought several items from Ubiquiti over the last few years and have been thrilled with the setup and reliability. The quality is definitely sufficient for my residential needs (just keeping an eye on things while I'm away). When paired with a Ubiquiti NVR, these things just rock. The interface is top notch. The cameras themselves are easy to install with a little technical know-how. Picture quality is excellent and night vision is surprisingly clear and far-reaching. However, not exactly a plug and play option like some all-in-one kits.
