This cookware is great for use on a boat (so I use these on a propane stove). I bought these in part for the removeable handles making the pots nestable. The SS pots have a good heavy base that distributes heat well. They clean up nicely. The lids for the pots are good but they do not completely seal the top. The fry pans do NOT come with lids. You only get lids for the pots and those lids will not work on the pans (at least they don't for the set I bought). The fry pans are on the light side so I watch the heat to avoid overheating. They have a thermal indicator but I don't find that very useful. The non-stick coating is effective and hopefully durable. The locking handles have been working well for me. I have a small kitchen so these pans are really great for storage. My previous sauce pans were stainless steel and I always had issues with sticking and a hot handle. These sauce pans are much better, still have a nice heavy bottom but I noticed a difference right away when making couscous. No sticking, love it! The only issues I have are that the saute pans don't have lids and you can't leave the handles on while cooking. I've gotten used to no handles while cooking but it would be great if the handles could withstand high heat. One of them is a little melted already from husband using while searing a steak. But overall these are nice. I usually put pans in the dishwasher because the rivets where the handles attach seem to hold food and I want them clean. These are easy to clean and no rivets make me more comfortable cleaning by hand, although I still put them in the dishwasher if really messy. ... show more

So far so good. Take a little getting used to the no handle, But the last set of pot and pan I had was Revere Ware, it 35 years old and I am trying something new. Heats up pretty evenly, Clean-up is a breeze. Storage space used is amazingly very little. I cannot say much on durability I have not had it long enough to answer that question. I absolutely love this set and got it on sale for 100dls here on Amazon. My only complaint, like many others, was the handle chipping on the sides of the pots when using it on them. So I started looking for better handles. I recommend to get a handle that has a rubber/ silicone inner area were it grips to the pot. This has taken care of the chipping problem on my pots. You might have to spend 20dls more on handles but it will preserve the lifespan of your set! ... show more
