    • A Suitable OEM Radio Replacement
My 2014 RAV4 XLE OEM radio crapped out. (It Froze, while just changing a station, then rebooted into a Factory Screen Bootloop) I looked for options. The OEM replacement though costed upwards of $1k, maybe more depending on which exact model it would replace. The dealer would charge that and more but only if they could source it. Finding one used can be tricky as you would imagine. I decided to get this one and boy I couldn't be happier. It fits pretty snug as if it was part of the vehicle the whole time. Start up time is a little slower than OEM but Backup Camera will always be available. Installation is easy, just followed the video instructions but nevertheless it was all plug and play. There are places to put the microphone and USB without going too crazy. Also make sure the backup and front cameras are connected to the right ones, you could do that just by doing a quick test before going through a bit of a tough reassembly process. Can be difficult to install because there are a lot of wires. Functionality is great. Added wireless car play dongle and it works well. Seller was very helpful in troubleshooting a problem I had when installing. Unit does take a while to boot up, but reverse camera works while it’s booting so you don’t really have to wait. ... show more

    • I do not recommend this radio!
This package arrived as expected. The radio had a nice fit and finish out of the box, but during installation was when the various problems first started to appear. Instructions for installation were virtually nonexistent. This was problematic given some of the mis-labled cables. I had several cables labeled, “camera in”. Good luck with that. Also had cables and connectors that were unlabeled. Eventually., and with the help of a You Tube video, I got the connectors where they belonged and “Viola, it works!”. Well, actually, not so much or so good. When installed, the radio caused a couple of dash warning lights to come on. One of the warning lights was the skid control warning light and the other was the tire warning light. As long as the radio was installed, these warning lights stayed on. Whenever the control interface module (that came with radio) was installed the warning lights came on. When the module was left out the lights worked as expected. Leaving out the module meant that the remote controls for the radio do not work and the backup camera does not work. That is how I was forced to leave the radio- half working. I sent an email to customer support and got a run around when what I needed was a working radio. Eventually, I gave up frustrated with both Amazon and the people who sold me the radio. Evidently the custom chips in the module were defective. That was not the end of the problems. The quality of the FM radio audio is quite poor. I am not an audiophile but the distortion from the radio is audible and annoying. I wish I had never dealt this company. I wasted a good deal of money and I am currently looking to buy a used OEM radio. No more foreign junk with no customer support. ... show more

4 year old 2014 RAV limited just suddenly dead on the navigation system. After being told $1000-2000 depending on labor cost and product option, we decided to try our own by watching youtube vedio. The whole installation only took 40 mins as hubby is a handy person, but it really easier than thought. All u need is a open tool to disassemble and plugin, couldnt be simplier. Functions: amazing! Google map, youtube, netflix with wifi setup with your phone. It can also mirror your phone. OMG It really like inserting an ipad in your card with simple touch screen. One bad performance so far is the screen got freezed once when we backing the car. NO RESPOND! But then it was finally solved when we reset everything to original. We guess it is because system language changed. Since it back to English, no issue found ao far. Hopefully it can last longer than the old one. ... show more

Toyota rav4 2018LE No complaints, its in amazing product easy installation!! Make sure to use the tap clips from your old unit to the new one so it can hold in place. (Its orange) well maybe I do have one complaint its the bt speaker its not that good!!

    • Good quality for the money
Installation was quite complex and sound is disconnecting every time the camera feed is on, which gets annoying. The supplier is not too eager to respond to questions either so you are on your own. Still, overall appears to be good quality for the money.
