Set name: 3. Opera

Features

  • [USING WITH SMART TVS] For Smart TVs with built-in Bluetooth (e.g., 2024 Samsung TVs), the Opera headphones can pair directly via Bluetooth. Slide the transmitter to 'OFF' to prevent the headphones from connecting to the transmitter. In this case, the transmitter dock will function solely as a charging station.
  • [SETUP FOR TVS WITH OPTICAL OR AUX PORTS] To use the transmitter dock, connect it to a power source and your TV using the included optical or AUX cable. Turn on the dock and headphones to pair automatically. For optical connections, set your TVs audio output to PCM/Stereo for the best performance.
  • [ENHANCED LISTENING EXPERIENCE] The Opera is designed with volume level thats louder than the regular headphones on the market; this combined with the 2 Equalizer modes, make the Opera headphones a perfect companion for people.
  • [SOUNDBAR/STEREO AVR SUPPORT] The Pass-through feature of Avantree Opera allows it to work TOGETHER with your existing Soundbar or Stereo AV Receivers WHILE sharing the same audio output port on TV; hear the TV at your own volume through the headphones while your family/friends listen through the speakers.

Description

Enhance your TV audio experience by choosing from 2 different equalizer presets. Bluetooth v5.0 ensures stable and reliable connectivity at a range of up to 164ft / 50m. Use your Opera headphones independently with any Bluetooth-enabled devices. Mute the audio with a single click (goodbye ads!) Plug the transmitter into a power source and connect to your TV’s audio output port. Power on the transmitter and the headphones. They should automatically pair. Change your TV audio settings to “PCM / Stereo.” Sit back, relax, and enjoy! How to charge the headphones？ Place the headphones on the charging dock, or use the USB-C cable and adapter through the power port. A solid red light means charging is in progress. Once the light turns off, the headphones are fully charged. How is the sound quality of these headphones? The headphones have two EQ modes: "Balance" and "Clear Voice." If you're looking for better overall sound quality, select the "Balance" mode. If you want clearer vocals, choose the "Clear Voice" mode. • Edited - Worked perfectly, then didn’t…
Edit: After being contacted by Avantree support and running through some diagnostic tests I was sent a new transmitter. After connecting the new transmitter and using it for a couple of days no issues with the new transmitter were found. I returned the faulty transmitter for their review. Purchased this headphone in December 2022 so I could watch TV at my volume and my wife could enjoy the same show at her comfortable volume. Using the optical connections for pass through everything worked perfectly, until it didn’t. 6 months old and the product just stopped working. No pass through and no sound on headphones. I’ve confirmed my optical out on the tv is working fine. If I unplug the power to the transmitter and let it sit overnight it will work once. Put the headphones on the transmitter to charge and the next night nothing. When this happens the white light blinks on the transmitter base and from what it says on the sticker, this means invalid signal. I’ve reset the transmitter to factory defaults and re-paired the head phones and still the only thing that fixes it is to unplug power and let it sit for several hours. Nothing manufactured today lasts. ... show more

    • Truly Plug and Play.
I had originally purchased a different model but could not get it to connect. I called customer service and they looked at what i had, a no blutooth samsung tv and an older sony sound bar. They then gave me 2 options so I exchanged the original unit for this one. This was truly plug and play. I just disconnected the optical cord from the sound bar and plugged it in to the Opera transmitter. Then attached the supplied cable from the transmitter to the soundbar and made 2 adjustments to the sound settings on the tv and everything worked. It was great not to have to try to muscle the 55" tv by myself. The Avantree products both came with clearly labeled cords, great packaging and clear instructions. Then their customer service was superb as the customer service rep actually called me, unasked, when i was in the middle of the chat with her. The unit works with just the tv and the headphones or both headphones and soundbar depending on what you turn on, no extra fiddling involved. It was wonderful to go to sleep last night without the explosions and gunfire coming from the tv in another room. The unit does not take up a lot of space and easy to operate by my brother who only has use of one hand. ... show more

    • I would buy them again
My transmitter developed a problem after two months and was quickly replaced under warranty. Dealing with Avantree tech and warranty support was fairly easy. Setting up the Bluetooth link using the replacement transmitter was a bit complicated, at least for me, but a phone conversation with Avantree tech support quickly got things going properly. All things considered, I would recommend them and buy them again. ... show more

    • When TV sound is set to Dolby, they don't work. Easy to reset sound to normal TV
I am a retired engineer. Have had the opportunity to work with many companies and their products and customer service representatives. This headphone product is as well made as anything I have ever purchased, and included all the different types of cords I might need to set it up with my system. I had a problem initially; the headphones did not work. Completely dead. I reached out to Avantree. The customer service I received is second to none, in my experience. Their representative could speak the "Kings English" which goes a long way in explaining everything and was very knowledgeable about their product. Avantree immediately sent me a new set and followed up to make sure I received them and that they worked. They took the time to show me how to use them with all my devices. They had a return label in the new box, which made it easy to send the original back. Their Web Site is AWSOME. Has several videos to show you how to use the headphones as well as a list of frequently asked questions and clear explanations. They are simply the best company I have ever used. Highly recommend. You can't go wrong. Regards, Satisfied Customer. ... show more
