I purchased this radio for my Toyota tundra, at first the radio worked great, however I did not notice that the face was MANUAL meaning that it did not go down automatically, instead I had to push it in myself. Totally my fault, I did not read the description correctly, however after contacting the seller, they were very helpful, understanding (of my mistake) And offered to replace it for an automatic one. I opted not to chNge it as I did not want to deal with the installation process again. The radio worked perfectly and I did not mind the face staying out permanently while having the option to close it manually. A few months after (and well after my return window from amazon closed) I began to notice that my radio was “acting weird”, the radio stations would jump from ono to another without any warning, I contacted the seller and they provided me with a great option even tho my retunr time frame was expired. I had nothing but great experiences with this seller, they are quick to respond to my issues, they provide solutions and are very helpful. The radio is a great product even tho the first one was defective, my replacement worked great. I will lead with the bottom line: at this price, this is a 5-star unit. I considered less than 5 stars but what's the justification? It didn't function like a unit 2, 3, 4 times more money? That would not be a fair evaluation. That would be like rating a Jr High starting quarterback against the top-rated NFL starter. My only complaint (and the reason I returned for full refund): the tuner and Android Auto cannot operate together. You cannot listen to local traffic reports on your favorite news station while letting Google Maps also give you traffic flow info. This is the only negative I found about this radio in the less than 24 hours I had it in my 2002 Silverado 2500HD (btw fits great). This was a deal-breaker for me. I suppose I could have worked out getting radio stations via phone and that might have solved the issue. Hmmm...wish I'd thought of trying that before I returned it. Okay, for real...I am going to finally get an app for radio on my smart phone and see how well that works. I may end up sending the Boss 7" removable screen back for refund and re-purchasing this Podofo unit. I did not test the rear camera. PROS: Instructions for wiring were good enough Screen opened to near vertical in my truck (this was a concern for me due to the dash design) Android Auto runs both wired and wireless Touchscreen works fine (not multipoint for map zoom - use the zoom +/- on screen) Multi-multi-band 3 FM and 2 AM so you get fast easy access to 5 of your favorite stations Manual open/close screen - no motor to fail Hands-free calling works fine using the supplied external mic ... show more

To start off, I own a 2002 Honda Accord and am an avid Carplay user. I rarely if not never use the radio as I enjoy listening to my own music, but keep that in mind for later. Hooking up the stereo was not much of an issue. The colors matched up and i tested out the stereo before putting it back in my car so there was no issues there. However, once installed, I was starting to have problems. The screen would work on Carplay when my car was in Drive and when I put it in Park, my screen went black. I could still hear my music and could change the volume but for some reason it stayed black until I went back to Drive. This was one instance. Another time, I was parked and Carplay was already playing and showing on the screen but the device powered off. Twice. Within a minute. Without me doing anything to the device or the car. I was annoyed as no stereo I’ve ever had previously ever did that. I also hate that I couldn’t plug in my phone before I powered on my car so Carplay could automatically load; the stereo didn’t allow that. In order for Carplay to boot up, I had to power on my car first and then connect my phone. I also hated that the default audio on the stereo would be the radio. Whenever my phone wasn’t plugged in, the radio would be on and the reception was very static-y. You could imagine how annoying it would be to have my stereo loud and it sound horrible when my own music wouldn’t play. ... show more

After writing this review, I was messaged by a customer service rep who helped me step by step to solve my issues. Shout out to Mia for the patience and the help!! :) Best customer service for sure. Like: - Bluetooth connects instantly - sound quality is pretty solid - gets the job done Then it gets to the dislikes, - Android Auto will connect half the time, and if it does connect, it'll stay connected for about 20 seconds before freezing the radio, requiring me to pull over to the side and restart my vehicle. - The settings will be pretty finicky in the sense that at times the volume increase and decrease buttons on my steering wheel will work and other times they won't. - Have to pull out the screen by hand - No audio when using the AV app ( playing the Xbox for instance.) Ultimately, it's mid to say the least. It gets the job done, looks good, but barely misses on the higher-end features it promises. ... show more

I like the apple car play and how you can adjust the sound but it’s way under powered for my speakers have to turn it all the way up and they ain’t getting very loud and I promise it’s not the adjustment in the radio it’s weak and right out of the box mine has dead spots on the screen would be a better unit if some of the small things were worked on but I will use it till I find something that will actually power my speakers ... show more
