I have a 2016 limited with JBL. I have had a lot of issues with the OEM Radio, mostly around Bluetooth connection and call quality. I finally had enough. In addition I had a rental car recently that had CarPlay and I loved it! The Sygav Android 11 is a fantastic radio. It was easy to install and works perfectly. Sound quality is very good. Connection to our phones was easy. Before making my purchase I read a lot of reviews and did a lot of research. Based on some of the negative reviews, Sygav must be continuing to learn and upgrade these units based on feedback which is a good thing. - product was well packaged when it arrived - there was a quality check label included in the box - there is an owners manual in the box. English translation is poor though, but easy enough to figure out. - the JBL system only supplemental harness was in its own bag and clearly labeled - no detailed installation instructions but follow the video on the Amazon item page and it’s easy. Only issue I had was getting a piece of the cars trim back in properly but not really radio related - all buttons on the steering wheel worked perfectly including the phone call buttons. I didn’t have to program them - Factory USB and Aux both work perfectly. They also provide a cable that adds 2 more USB Ports but decided not to use them since my wife would hate exposed wires. - I placed the external mic hidden behind the HVAC panel and sound quality for calls is great. Also sending messages in CarPlay with Siri is well understood so the mic on the front of the unit must work well - unit boots up quickly. Reverse camera comes on even if it is in boot up or when the unit is turned off, which is great! - all car config functions are still available. Even unique ones like power tailgate opening height were all retained - tire pressures are now accessible to me, although in KPa not PSI. No biggie to me still an improvement over nothing that Toyota gives us access to. - you will lose the compass on the instrument panel with this unit. Also you will lose the audio display screen on the dash. Also if your car has Easy Speak, you will lose that function. None of these matter to me though. - the apps on the system could be configured a little better. The Zlink app that you use for CarPlay is several pages back but should be up front. I know these are configurable but I have to figure out how to do that. Overall extremely pleased with the Sygav unit. I’m looking forward to learning more about all the other functions to unlock the full potential. I also hope the unit proves reliable.

I bought this about 1-1/2 years ago. It was an easy quick connect installation. The screen is big and resolution is decent. Touchscreen worked well but the screen had some lines. That did not bother me at the beginning since everything else worked. Bluetooth connected wirelessly, backup camera screen was alot bigger than original and car play worked. I was crossing my fingers that it would work for years and then it happened after 1-1/2 years. It died! Went camping last weekend and the radio would not power ON. Looked at the fuses and saw nothing, I would probably need to open it up again and see what the issue is but this should not happen in less than 2-years time. My old car radio from my Acura RSX lasted 19 years because it died!!! Paid $600 for this just to use for less than 2 years.

I have been looking a replacement radio for my vehicle a long time. Something that meet my expectation like, big screen, built-in Apple Car Play and good definition display. Definitely exceed my expectations. Installation was very easy, just need to figure it out the plugs configuration (the only hard part). The reverse camera and the steering wheel controls continue working without problems. The only complain is that you can't connect it to wi-fi and use wireless Car Play at the same time, but is due to how the wireless Apple Car Play connection works. Just turn off the radio hotspot and the wi-fi works flawless. You can continue using Bluetooth for calls and music. Aesthetically it looks OEM, the frame fits exactly the original radio dimensions. Audio quality is great. This radio saves me to buy a new car. I'll recommend.

This replacement navigation/stereo/camera system worked great for 6 months and then it stopped working completely randomly. Very disappointed After submitting a negative review, I wanted to update. We reached out to the company and were given instructions on how to “reboot” the system. After doing so - it is working again!!! Other on the unit - the large screen is awesome. The functionality is very good. Speaking over the system speaker is not the clearest - but I just use my AirPods and then I can hear clear as a bell.
