The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased this SwitchBot S10 vacuum robot. As a pet owner with a husky, I needed a reliable and powerful cleaning solution, and the S10 delivers on all fronts. Because of its self-wash and drying mop system, I don't have to deal with a dirty mop and dirty water anymore. Another standout feature is that it can vacuum and mop at the same time. It saves a lot of time to clean the floor. Despite having a husky that sheds a lot, the S10 handles the entire first floor effortlessly. No extra work so far. Setting up S10 was also a breeze. The instructions were very clear. Maintenance is straightforward, with easy-to-remove dustbins and filters, and the app provides reminders for filter changes and other maintenance tasks. Highly recommended.

Update: After a firmware update, the machine started working. Why it doesn't check for firmware updates upon initial set up is beyond me. Now that it is functioning, it does a decent job of vacuuming and seems to have excellent battery life. Haven't tried the mop feature yet, but 🤞 that works well too. I purchased the Switchbot S10 during Prime days this year and was so excited to receive it. I absolutely love the concept and the idea of turning my floor cleaning into an automated (mostly) hands off routine was sooooo appealing! I had no issues getting the docking station hooked up (plug and play), a few issues finding the correct plumbing attachments to hook up the water station supply line to my washing machine hose (relatively minor), but ALL the issues once I actually tried to get the robot to do anything through the app. The robot was fully charged (had been charging for a day before I was able to get the correct plumbing bits to hook up the water station), I had the latest version of the app, and no available firmware updates showing in the app. I was able to connect the robot to the app on my phone and wifi, but that's when everything stopped working. Every time I try to set up the robot in the app, as soon as it gets to the fast map stage, I get an error message stating "A system error occurred and your robot could not continue working. Please try restarting your robot." I have reset and restarted the robot multiple times. The error clears until the next attempt at fast mapping and then happens again. The robot motor volume increases like it is about to move off the dock and start mapping, but then it tells me it is "charging", the buttons all start flashing orange, and the error message shows up in the app. This thing is BRAND NEW and I can't even get it to move off the dock. What a joke!

Let me start with why I went with Switchbot. I had curtain bots for years and loved them. Now I am on my second Vacuum and the customer service is just not there. The company as a whole just doesn't support their products. I had my first vacuum arrive DOA and the 2nd dead after just a few weeks. The first took over a month to get replaced and Amazon did that instead of the company because you just can't get them do anything without bad reviews everywhere. Enter the replacement that took about a week of back and forth emails to get to work and then 3 weeks in bam it got stuck (normal) we came home and put it on the charger. It now has no battery and just wont start back. This has been a week of trying to submit tickets that don't get any response at all, and if you call you may or may not get someone who will tell you that they will have someone follow up which doesn't happen. Lets be real this is a great concept and the tech reviewers all loved it, but is very clear they didn't live with what is being released to the public. This is just not ready for prime time. Try again SwitchBot and fix your customer service. I don't care as a consumer if I buy a 700+ vacuum I don't want to wait a month or more to get a resolution to an issue. For all the real people out there the idea of being plumbed in is great except that when it doesn't work there is no use. So now with a hole in my cabinet I am begging someone to just give me my money back and let me move on from this awful experience.

I recently upgraded to the S10 from a dying Roomba, and boy did it make a huge difference. I did not count on the auto-mopping feature, thinking it couldn’t do better than my Swiffer – I was wrong. The fully autonomous vacuuming and mopping feature worked incredibly well. It really freed me up from the time and energy, and I can’t imagine going back to the days with my old Roomba. The app is functional and easy to use. My only suggestion for improvement would be to add 5G Wi-Fi support. Overall, the S10 is a fantastic addition to our home – it also fits very nicely into my home décor.
