I purchased the wall hugging Twin XL premium bed frame and the 14" thick mattress. This bed frame came in a large, narrow, well package box. The box is heavy but reflected how this bed frame was made. It's solid and well made. This would be best handled with two people with a little muscle. I however, tackled this alone and was able to assemble and place the frame in It's final location. After installing the legs, make sure when tipping it right-side up, that pressure on the legs are minimal. I used blocks of 4x4's to take most of the weight of the frame to relieve the side pressure on the legs when tipping it over. The mattress came in a cylindrical heavy duty bag about 4 ft x 1.5 ft in size. After removing the outer bag, the mattress is tightly packed in a airtight plastic wrap/bag. You must take care when cutting this wrap/bag off as to avoid cutting into the mattress. While cutting the wrap/bag last part, the mattress springs out. Insure you have adequate room to let the mattress expand. I let my mattress expand for 24 hours before using it. The mattress I got wasn't too firm or too soft. It is just right... very comfortable. All bed functions worked great with the provided remote, but the phone app had some issues connecting to the bed. It worked (connected) one day, then not the next. I hope they'll be able to fix it in upcoming updates. However this review is about the bed and not the app. I'll rate the app on the Play Store. I ready love this bed and here are some short reasons why. I'm 250 lbs and this bed is able to accommodate every position with ease. It's very quite too. I FINALLY sleep all the way through the night. No more sleeping aids. My arthritic hip and chronic back pain (L5-S1) feel MUCH better after a night sleep on this bed. I almost cried from happiness when I woke up without the horrible pains. Love the wall hugging feature. No more dropped pillow behind the bed. I'd like to thank Sven & Son and SleepGeekz for this fine product. They can have everything I own, except for this bed. They'll have to pry it from my dead cold fingers to take it from me. Not kidding. This bed is worth every penny! UPDATE October 5, 2023: Over 2 years have passed and this wall hugging Twin XL premium bed frame with the 14" thick mattress is still as comfortable as the first day I received it. Everything works perfectly. The mattress isn't flattened or sags. The bed massager and adjustment motors are still so quiet. I lost 20 pounds. Not by dieting but by feeling better when I wake and being more active due to less pain. In my humble opinion, I think this is the best purchase I've ever made in my entire life. :-) UPDATE: March 8, 2024 My arthritic hip is much less painful. I'd estimate about 40 to 60% less. Still sleeping through the night. Mattress is still like new. No sagging. Still very comfortable. Bed adjustments still quiet and going strong. Love, love, love this bed and mattress. Bed so far supper comfortable. we are sleeping much better. Remote has so many buttons its kind of difficult to use, especially when you are in bed and in the dark. Application on phone was difficult to connect and start on the phone, instructions were confusing, but now that is installed is very, very, very EASY to use the bed and take advantage of all the features. you can manage in the dark. Style: 14" Medium Soft + Base Size: Split California King
This bed is really comfortable, better than I expected and I was really hoping it would be great. The catches are simple: The bed is a little high if you're going to store stuff under it, but still very practical. 9" (highest leg height config) let's me store stuff under the bed but the mattress is thick, so it's a tall bed in this configuration. A think mattress with a high floor clearance means a tall bed. The split bed aspect can create a small gap but it's not usually noticeable. This frame is really very heavy even though it's delivered in two halves. You have to find split California King sheets and a random sheet set almost certainly isn't going to have that. The bed is nearly silent when it lifts or lowers. The Android controller app is useful and works despite having a very low star rating on the play store. Storage under the bed is fine, it doesn't seem to dip under the level of the base in my experience and I tested the full range of motion. I was really happy I could sleep on my side so comfortably on this bed and mattress combo! The zero gravity position is particularly nice. I'm really glad I took the big gamble on this bed. Update: it's one year later and the bed is still really nice. No problems, mechanical or otherwise, and no maintenance. ... show more

Fast shipping and customer care with notice of its delivery. The bed frame itself is great! It’s functionality with the remote is easy to control. The massage feature is a strong vibration that does bring some relaxation to a certain degree. And like other reviewers, the bed frame is extremely heavy, so much so, that in having the split king it is very difficult to make the bed in changing the bottom sheets and having to separate the bed apart to do this, the bases are just to heavy for me alone to do this. THE MATTRESS…. I purchased the bundle where you buy the frame and mattress together. I’ve never had a memory foam mattress before and it is a very different experience, that has taken me a few weeks to adjust too. One thing that is not good experience for me with a memory foam mattress is that there is no more sitting on the edge of the bed. I never realized how much or important this was to me until getting this new mattress. If you try, it doesn’t or will not support you, it sinks and you find yourself pushing on the floor with your feet and your actually leaning on the side of the mattress. I was use to sitting on the edge of the bed for various reasons and now I have to make certain my bottom is centered inwards and my feet are having to hang a bit off the edge so that the mattress will support. When you sleep on it, it does conform to your body, but when you change positions, that hole or depth from your previous position isn’t yet expanded back to normal and you find yourself rolling back into that hole. Also for some reason I find it difficult to turn on the mattress for some reason, it’s just a totally different experience with a memory foam mattress then a standard spring mattress. I to some degree regret purchasing the bundle package and maybe should have just got the frame by itself. I do recommend the bed frame for its functionality, but the mattress for me personally does not suit me. ... show more
