I purchased the wall hugging Twin XL premium bed frame and the 14" thick mattress. This bed frame came in a large, narrow, well package box. The box is heavy but reflected how this bed frame was made. It's solid and well made. This would be best handled with two people with a little muscle. I however, tackled this alone and was able to assemble and place the frame in It's final location. After installing the legs, make sure when tipping it right-side up, that pressure on the legs are minimal. I used blocks of 4x4's to take most of the weight of the frame to relieve the side pressure on the legs when tipping it over. The mattress came in a cylindrical heavy duty bag about 4 ft x 1.5 ft in size. After removing the outer bag, the mattress is tightly packed in a airtight plastic wrap/bag. You must take care when cutting this wrap/bag off as to avoid cutting into the mattress. While cutting the wrap/bag last part, the mattress springs out. Insure you have adequate room to let the mattress expand. I let my mattress expand for 24 hours before using it. The mattress I got wasn't too firm or too soft. It is just right... very comfortable. All bed functions worked great with the provided remote, but the phone app had some issues connecting to the bed. It worked (connected) one day, then not the next. I hope they'll be able to fix it in upcoming updates. However this review is about the bed and not the app. I'll rate the app on the Play Store. I ready love this bed and here are some short reasons why. I'm 250 lbs and this bed is able to accommodate every position with ease. It's very quite too. I FINALLY sleep all the way through the night. No more sleeping aids. My arthritic hip and chronic back pain (L5-S1) feel MUCH better after a night sleep on this bed. I almost cried from happiness when I woke up without the horrible pains. Love the wall hugging feature. No more dropped pillow behind the bed. I'd like to thank Sven & Son and SleepGeekz for this fine product. They can have everything I own, except for this bed. They'll have to pry it from my dead cold fingers to take it from me. Not kidding. This bed is worth every penny! UPDATE October 5, 2023: Over 2 years have passed and this wall hugging Twin XL premium bed frame with the 14" thick mattress is still as comfortable as the first day I received it. Everything works perfectly. The mattress isn't flattened or sags. The bed massager and adjustment motors are still so quiet. I lost 20 pounds. Not by dieting but by feeling better when I wake and being more active due to less pain. In my humble opinion, I think this is the best purchase I've ever made in my entire life. :-) UPDATE: March 8, 2024 My arthritic hip is much less painful. I'd estimate about 40 to 60% less. Still sleeping through the night. Mattress is still like new. No sagging. Still very comfortable. Bed adjustments still quiet and going strong. Love, love, love this bed and mattress. I had been comparing prices and beds for about a month and decided to go with. Sven $ Son. We made an excellent choice. Our bed was delivered very quickly, and the packaging was perfect. Easy to put together. We had it set up in less than an hour.. This bed is so comfortable and the mattresses are wonderful. I’ve had this bed for about a year now. We love it! It’s just right firmness with the hybrid mattress, to where I’m comfortable but don’t get back pain. I use the adjustable function every night to prop up to read. I do recall when we set it up, each individual frame is VERY HEAVY. I rue the day I have to disassemble this and move it. But all in all definitely worth the money would absolutely buy again. FYI it can be kinda challenging acquiring bedding for a split king, often you have to a-la-carte each piece because split king sets seem to be not so common. And the crack between the two (you’re basically pushing two TwinXL’s together) can be kinda a bummer for activities. But all in all I think the pros outweigh the cons to have customized individual comfort settings and a super comfortable mattress to level up your sleep game!

I actually love this bed. I love the base even more. Can't beat the ability to adjust your bed to however you can rest the best. For me, the break-in period was about 3-4 weeks. The bed is much softer than I would usually go for, but I sleep with a body pillow and it's become quite cozy without my lower back suffering. Have had shoulder pain in both shoulders, but I can sleep on either side without compression and pain, thanks to the plushness. Love the massage feature. I am a light sleeper and live on a golf course next to a pond. Often awakening to the sound of frogs and an owl. Pop the massager on and it's hum drowns out the noise of nature and soothes me back to sleep. The remote could stay illuminated a bit longer. Tough to find some buttons in the middle of the night. Don't really use the flashlight or under bed lighting much. My wife loves the bed as well!! Split beds take a bit of getting used to for couples, but it's great to be able to adjust the bed to our individual likings. Now the negatives of my experience. I read all of the advice of getting the white glove service due to the weight and awkwardness of this large bed and frames. I decided not to attempt doing this on my own. Thanks to reviews I knew about the service. The rep that contacted me from Sleep Geeks never even mentioned the option. I had to broach the subject with her. I live in Coastal SC. The crew that was contracted by Sleep Geeks were a bit of a mess. They were 2 hours pass their window. I am easy going so no problem. Well the reason I hired the white glove was so I didn't have to do it. In order to save damage to my home I found myself pitching in because one of the guys in particular was not strong enough to lift the base. These two were pretty clueless in building the frame. I had to tell them to please use caution when turning it over, as not to break the bedframe legs. Found myself the next day cleaning up the bits of debris that they left in my cul-de-sac. Not very "white glove". Lastly, I wish it was clear that extra materials are needed to connect your existing headboard. First, I believe it should be included with the purchase of the unit or at least offered as an accessory. Had to wait a week after to receive the needed frame tools, then I needed to go to Home Depot for extra nuts and bolts. I then had to figure out how to configure the dang thing to work with my headboard. All unnecessary headaches, mostly forgotten now that I am enjoying the bed so much!!

This is a great product that arrives via freight truck delivery. It's heavy but super easily to install with a couple of strong guys. I only had a couple of stairs to deal with (ranch home). Unboxing (mattresses and platforms) generates lots of packaging/trash so be prepared for this during the setup process. I tossed everything in my pickup truck as I needed to go to dump anyway to dispose of an old bed and mattresses. I got the freight truck driver to take back the pallet so I didn't have to also deal with it. The pallet is a very abnormally sized pallet (rectangular). So far we love everything about this product. It fits within our old king bed frame perfectly. I enjoy using the phone app (which mimics the included physical remote) to control the bed via bluetooth. The USB ports under the bed platform work well for me as a night time phone charger access point. They have 1 - 1amp and 1 - 2amp USB ports on each side of each platform. Like others have said, the manual remote control backlighting features aren't well thought out in design as noticed when you use them in a dark room. The adjustability is crazy with these platforms and the massage features are a pleasant addition I actually find myself using now and then. We would definitely buy again as the costs compared to local store options was a much better deal and this one has many more features. We've had for a month or two now and the included split king mattresses seem pretty good and are comfortable. I think they may be a little bit warm (body heat retention) in the summer months (TBD), but they seem to be decent quality for something being included within a packaged deal. One surprise to be aware of is that sheets for these split king setups aren't cheap and are hard to find locally. Prepare yourself for another couple hundred dollars in sheet/mattress protector purchases (and order them online if you can for better options and color choices).

I started out with mixed feelings about the bed. I had never owned an adjustable bed before, so I wasn't quite sure how I would like it. While watching TV in bed, I used to have to prop up with a bunch of pillows, but no more! Also, I have some back problems, and it's painful to lay flat for too long, so I hoped that being adjustable would help with that. It does help some, but it's no cure. I find myself adjusting the bed several times a night to try and get more comfortable when the pain starts. To be fair though, this is not the bed's fault. It is just my back and pinched nerves, I don't think any bed can cure that. It did take me a couple of weeks to get used to it, as I'm sure is the case with any new bed. Now I find it very comfortable. My wife still thinks it's too firm for her, but she is getting used to it too. She loves the vibrating feature. She turns it on every night and it helps her fall asleep. If she wakes up at night, she turns it on again. She only wishes that it would just stay on and not time out after 20 minutes. Pros: • Has all the adjustments you could ask for (Knees, Lumbar, upper body, head tilt) • Has vibration mode, (really does help you fall asleep.) • Great customer service (One of our remotes didn't work, they sent us out a new one right away!) • Great price Cons: • Had to modify my bed frame to get it to fit correctly. • Curbside service means just that. They unloaded it at the end of my driveway, about 300 feet from my front door. Luckily, I have a truck and was able to load it into my truck until I could get help installing it into my bedroom. • Vibration times out after 20 minutes (Seems like there could be an option for it to stay on) • Phone app never works (Only got it to work 1 time, but each time you open the app, it can't find the bed again) • The Remotes have a curved back, it makes them fall off our nightstand or headboard very easily, if they fall under the bed it's not easy to get it back...at all. If they were flat, it wouldn’t be an issue. • The USB ports are useless. They are beneath the bed where you just can get to them. It's a very sturdy and nice bed, as good as any of the other more expensive brands for sure. It did take a few weeks to get used to it, but I find that I enjoy it now. Overall, I give it 4 stars. It's just all the little things add up so it was tough to give it 5 stars. I would definitely recommend though!

This is an amazing value. After looking Tempur-pedic options in a local store and being quote ~$13K for a comparable split king with adjustable base, I starting looking online at other options. I was a bit hesitant to order without trying the mattress first but this company seemed legit and had good ratings for customer service so I gave it a shot. After having it for a couple of weeks now, my wife and I are thrilled. It is comfortable and supportive. It is soft but we also added a 2" pillow top mattress cover/protector which helped nudge it over the top into ridiculously comfortable. One thing to note is that this is my first memory foam bed. While they sleep cooler than the previous generations I have tried, if you are a hot sleeper, the gel infused memory foam isn't perfect and you will still get warm after a while. My solution to this was a Chilipad Ooler which is absolute magic and I would recommend to anyone that sleeps hot. Combined with the Sven & Son mattress and adjustable base, it is a wonderful solution. My wife is a side sleeper and love it. I am a back sleeper and now generally sleep in the zero-gravity position (there is a dedicated button on the remote for this mode). We both love the massage. And, the adjustable lumbar support is really nice when you want it. Only downside is that the bases are HEAVY. Can't really fault the product as they are substantial frames and motors, which is a good. However, be prepared for a workout :-) One final note. The morning back pain that I thought was normal after 10 years on my old sleep number mattress is mostly gone now with the Sven & Son mattress. Couldn't be happier.

Before we purchased this bed, I read through many of the reviews where many people extolled the virtues of this bed. Some people claimed that it cured their aches and pains and others found it very comfortable. And I'm sure that for them this was true. The main reason I purchased this bed was because it had a 100-day refund/replacement period. I had asked the seller whether there was a charge for returning the bed and they said there was a 'restocking' fee (they didn't say how much). I figured it couldn't be that bad even if we didn't like it so I went ahead and purchased the bed. I'll start by saying that overall, the bed wasn't that bad, it just didn't work for us. The mattress was too soft. My wife has muscular dystrophy and doesn't have the strength to turn herself over if the mattress is too soft and this one definitely was. That was reason number 1 for returning it. She absolutely hated the split king as she would 'fall' into the valley between the mattresses. That was reason number 2 for returning it. For me, it was OK but it was pretty soft and I definitely prefer something a little more firm (the lesson here is you really need to try it before you buy it). So I would rate the bed itself a 3 as the adjustable frame was nice and you could put it into lots of different positions. The zero G setting didn't seem right as it raised your feet way higher than your head but you can adjust that after the fact. It is really heavy and having 2 people is pretty necessary to put it together. So, that's my thoughts on the bed. Now we can get to the reason for my rating. I had read some other reviews about having to pay a fee if you sent it back. To me, if the description says that it's a 100-day trial period, that should mean that if it doesn't work out for you before 100 days is up, you can send it back no questions asked. And, they did accept it back as we didn't even sleep on it for a week (my wife really didn't like it as explained above). They scheduled a pickup of the bed and that went very well (I helped the guy pack it up and put it on his trailer). When we got the email saying that they had accepted the bed and we were getting a refund, I was taken aback by the refund amount. We paid $2696 for this bed and the amount refunded was $1964. The restocking fee was more than 25% of the cost of the bed! If it had been a couple hundred bucks or something like that, I could have lived with that (I wouldn't like it but that's the chance you take buying a bed online). But a $732 'restocking' fee is ridiculous. I'm am just trying to make potential buyers of this bed aware that if it doesn't work for you, like it didn't for us, then don't waste your money and go into a store and make sure you really like the mattress and other features of the bed before you spend the money.
