I purchased the wall hugging Twin XL premium bed frame and the 14" thick mattress. This bed frame came in a large, narrow, well package box. The box is heavy but reflected how this bed frame was made. It's solid and well made. This would be best handled with two people with a little muscle. I however, tackled this alone and was able to assemble and place the frame in It's final location. After installing the legs, make sure when tipping it right-side up, that pressure on the legs are minimal. I used blocks of 4x4's to take most of the weight of the frame to relieve the side pressure on the legs when tipping it over. The mattress came in a cylindrical heavy duty bag about 4 ft x 1.5 ft in size. After removing the outer bag, the mattress is tightly packed in a airtight plastic wrap/bag. You must take care when cutting this wrap/bag off as to avoid cutting into the mattress. While cutting the wrap/bag last part, the mattress springs out. Insure you have adequate room to let the mattress expand. I let my mattress expand for 24 hours before using it. The mattress I got wasn't too firm or too soft. It is just right... very comfortable. All bed functions worked great with the provided remote, but the phone app had some issues connecting to the bed. It worked (connected) one day, then not the next. I hope they'll be able to fix it in upcoming updates. However this review is about the bed and not the app. I'll rate the app on the Play Store. I ready love this bed and here are some short reasons why. I'm 250 lbs and this bed is able to accommodate every position with ease. It's very quite too. I FINALLY sleep all the way through the night. No more sleeping aids. My arthritic hip and chronic back pain (L5-S1) feel MUCH better after a night sleep on this bed. I almost cried from happiness when I woke up without the horrible pains. Love the wall hugging feature. No more dropped pillow behind the bed. I'd like to thank Sven & Son and SleepGeekz for this fine product. They can have everything I own, except for this bed. They'll have to pry it from my dead cold fingers to take it from me. Not kidding. This bed is worth every penny! UPDATE October 5, 2023: Over 2 years have passed and this wall hugging Twin XL premium bed frame with the 14" thick mattress is still as comfortable as the first day I received it. Everything works perfectly. The mattress isn't flattened or sags. The bed massager and adjustment motors are still so quiet. I lost 20 pounds. Not by dieting but by feeling better when I wake and being more active due to less pain. In my humble opinion, I think this is the best purchase I've ever made in my entire life. :-) UPDATE: March 8, 2024 My arthritic hip is much less painful. I'd estimate about 40 to 60% less. Still sleeping through the night. Mattress is still like new. No sagging. Still very comfortable. Bed adjustments still quiet and going strong. Love, love, love this bed and mattress. I didn't like the delivery, dropped off in the grass at the edge of my driveway, which was down a hill. I asked that it be delivered up the driveway by the garage if they couldn't get it to the porch. Well, that didn't happen and when I got a look at the boxes, they were pretty beat up and torn in some places. So I was a little worried. I complained about the delivery, got a phone call the next day to make things right. Well appreciated. Anyway, things got better and better from there. We opened everything up, and found no damage, not even a scratch. Well packed on the inside. we took everything out, looked over the easy to read instructions and had the beds put together in about 10 minutes. It had a backup battery for the power, but needs a 9v battery that isn't included. We tested it out. everything worked as advertised. The motor can be heard, but it wasn't very loud in my opinion, but people will vary on this. I've heard a lot louder sounds from some of the more expensive beds. The mattress puffed up and was ready to use. Its a little stiff, but to be expected. should soften up with use. It is already soft, where you will sink in a bit. you can feel the cool gel working well. We let it sit overnight, so we haven't slept in it yet, but are so looking forward to it. Will have to come back and update this in a few weeks to see how that goes. Very impressed with the service from the seller Sleep Geeks!! A bonus in all this. Update! Love this bed. It's been about two weeks now, and I haven't slept this good in a long while. The stiffness has relaxed and the bed is as comfortable as I like it to be. I don't toss and turn much, and stay pretty much in the same position from when I fell asleep to when I wake up.

I actually love this bed. I love the base even more. Can't beat the ability to adjust your bed to however you can rest the best. For me, the break-in period was about 3-4 weeks. The bed is much softer than I would usually go for, but I sleep with a body pillow and it's become quite cozy without my lower back suffering. Have had shoulder pain in both shoulders, but I can sleep on either side without compression and pain, thanks to the plushness. Love the massage feature. I am a light sleeper and live on a golf course next to a pond. Often awakening to the sound of frogs and an owl. Pop the massager on and it's hum drowns out the noise of nature and soothes me back to sleep. The remote could stay illuminated a bit longer. Tough to find some buttons in the middle of the night. Don't really use the flashlight or under bed lighting much. My wife loves the bed as well!! Split beds take a bit of getting used to for couples, but it's great to be able to adjust the bed to our individual likings. Now the negatives of my experience. I read all of the advice of getting the white glove service due to the weight and awkwardness of this large bed and frames. I decided not to attempt doing this on my own. Thanks to reviews I knew about the service. The rep that contacted me from Sleep Geeks never even mentioned the option. I had to broach the subject with her. I live in Coastal SC. The crew that was contracted by Sleep Geeks were a bit of a mess. They were 2 hours pass their window. I am easy going so no problem. Well the reason I hired the white glove was so I didn't have to do it. In order to save damage to my home I found myself pitching in because one of the guys in particular was not strong enough to lift the base. These two were pretty clueless in building the frame. I had to tell them to please use caution when turning it over, as not to break the bedframe legs. Found myself the next day cleaning up the bits of debris that they left in my cul-de-sac. Not very "white glove". Lastly, I wish it was clear that extra materials are needed to connect your existing headboard. First, I believe it should be included with the purchase of the unit or at least offered as an accessory. Had to wait a week after to receive the needed frame tools, then I needed to go to Home Depot for extra nuts and bolts. I then had to figure out how to configure the dang thing to work with my headboard. All unnecessary headaches, mostly forgotten now that I am enjoying the bed so much!!

First of all I am in know way compensated for this post. Week 3 update: Still love this bed. It has been a huge help for my husband to recover from hip surgery by using the different reclining features. We have owned his bed for almost a week now and we have been so impressed that I had to write a review. The very first night my husband had his best sleep ever. He has shoulder and hip problems and never sleeps comfortably. The ability to sleep in zero gravity mode or custom head and leg tilt has been a game changer. I never want to lay flat ever again! We went from about 6 pillows on our bed to now only one each. I love reading and I'm easily able to push the recline button into the perfect spot then down again when it's time to sleep. Pros- very quiet, super comfy mattress that did not have a smell at all!! it came vacuum sealed and wrapped securely. Remote has all the options you need including a flashlight. Great customer service provided by Sleep Geekz! The only Con is that it's VERY HEAVY. So just plan accordingly for help with it up the stairs or into place. Super easy set up once it's in place. And you would never know we had 2 twin adjustable beds inside our King bed frame. It fits perfect!

I just got this bed delivered yesterday. Slept in it last night. My specific health issues so you know what my existing problems were before last night: I have chronic lower back pain, and have had it for a very long time. My C4-C5 actually touch from the disc bursting and wearing away over time. I am also cheap/thrifty when faced with large costs and also don't want to roll the medical dice on surgery, so I deal with the pain. I use a tens unit daily to sooth the muscles that keep me from standing up straight without pain. I wake up at least once, if not several times a night from turning over in bed and causing me pain. I also have a previously injured right shoulder that hurts throughout the night because I am a side-sleeper, and subsides a couple hours after I get out of bed. Due to waking up frequently, I cannot remember the last time I had a dream or being able to remember one, if I had one. I am 6' 230lbs, in relatively good health otherwise and am fairly active even with the pain. But this morning y'all...holy crap. I cannot believe the sleep I got. I don't remember waking up one time. I didn't have a sore shoulder and my back hasn't felt this good after sleeping in probably a decade!!! The pain that was felt was minimal compared to normal. I played with the controls and massage which will come in handy watching TV or reading and I will try the ZG (zero gravity) setting which felt pretty good when I was trying it out. But for sleep, I slept on the mattress being flat. I also remembered dreaming!! It's been easily a decade since I remember dreaming at all, much less remembering any part of it. I can tell you that I feel more alert and rested than I have in a long time and without any sleeping aid. I usually have to take 2-4 melatonin to get anything resembling that rested feeling, but even that pales by comparison to how I feel today. It's truly unbelievable the difference between my old bed and this one, and only after ONE night!!! I can't wait to see how this plays out long-term. I will update in the next month or so but after a single night, this bed has improved my sleep so much, it's already convinced me it was well worth the money spent. I told you I was cheap too, right? I know people who have walked into the name brand mattress stores and dropped $4,000-8,000 for just a mattress and I now believe they got ripped off big time. Sven and Son is the real deal and at a much cheaper price for the cheapskate in me, and presumably in you, if you're reading this. I researched this and other beds online and on Amazon, noticed that another bed base manufacturer on Amazon uses their mattresses, now I know why. Service: Xavier with SleepGeekz called me personally, and he was very nice, to verify my order and let me know shipping date ranges, which were sooner than Amazon predicted. Then I was notified by text a few days prior as well as the day it was to arrive. Outstanding service as far as I am concerned. Save up, ask Santa Claus, collect cans, work overtime, panhandle or do whatever you have to do (legally) to get this bed, it's worth it!! I'll report back soon.

I purchased this adjustable bed and mattress on May 20, 2025, and it has helped me immensely with my back issues. The ability to raise the head and foot sections has provided noticeable pain relief and improved my sleep quality. However, I have one concern: the lumbar support inflates much too high. In my experience, lumbar support should activate at the natural inward curve of the lower back. On this model, it inflates several inches above that point, which may not be ideal for everyone. Despite that, I still recommend this bed for people with lumbar spinal issues because of the overall adjustability and comfort. On a less positive note, the frame arrived with a tear in the cloth material at the flat base near the head section—before any assembly was done. This damage is on the frame itself, not the mattress. I contacted the manufacturer immediately, expressing concern that repeated motion (raising and lowering the head) might worsen the tear or damage the underlying structure. As of the date of this review, I have received no reply—no acknowledgment of my concern, no advice, and no patch kit. I have attached both photos and video showing the condition as it arrived, taken prior to assembly. Overall, I am pleased with the comfort and functionality, but disappointed in the lack of customer support and quality control. A stronger response from the manufacturer would have made this an easy 5-star review.

Before we purchased this bed, I read through many of the reviews where many people extolled the virtues of this bed. Some people claimed that it cured their aches and pains and others found it very comfortable. And I'm sure that for them this was true. The main reason I purchased this bed was because it had a 100-day refund/replacement period. I had asked the seller whether there was a charge for returning the bed and they said there was a 'restocking' fee (they didn't say how much). I figured it couldn't be that bad even if we didn't like it so I went ahead and purchased the bed. I'll start by saying that overall, the bed wasn't that bad, it just didn't work for us. The mattress was too soft. My wife has muscular dystrophy and doesn't have the strength to turn herself over if the mattress is too soft and this one definitely was. That was reason number 1 for returning it. She absolutely hated the split king as she would 'fall' into the valley between the mattresses. That was reason number 2 for returning it. For me, it was OK but it was pretty soft and I definitely prefer something a little more firm (the lesson here is you really need to try it before you buy it). So I would rate the bed itself a 3 as the adjustable frame was nice and you could put it into lots of different positions. The zero G setting didn't seem right as it raised your feet way higher than your head but you can adjust that after the fact. It is really heavy and having 2 people is pretty necessary to put it together. So, that's my thoughts on the bed. Now we can get to the reason for my rating. I had read some other reviews about having to pay a fee if you sent it back. To me, if the description says that it's a 100-day trial period, that should mean that if it doesn't work out for you before 100 days is up, you can send it back no questions asked. And, they did accept it back as we didn't even sleep on it for a week (my wife really didn't like it as explained above). They scheduled a pickup of the bed and that went very well (I helped the guy pack it up and put it on his trailer). When we got the email saying that they had accepted the bed and we were getting a refund, I was taken aback by the refund amount. We paid $2696 for this bed and the amount refunded was $1964. The restocking fee was more than 25% of the cost of the bed! If it had been a couple hundred bucks or something like that, I could have lived with that (I wouldn't like it but that's the chance you take buying a bed online). But a $732 'restocking' fee is ridiculous. I'm am just trying to make potential buyers of this bed aware that if it doesn't work for you, like it didn't for us, then don't waste your money and go into a store and make sure you really like the mattress and other features of the bed before you spend the money.
