Came well packaged and well labeled to avoid damages. Open the box on the indicated side up for easier removal. The bed is folded and wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve (see photos). Easy setup, no tools needed. Once removed and unfolded, you find all you need is boxed and attached with zip ties to the undercarriage of the bed (see photo). The legs (6 in total) have layered sections that unscrew so you can add or remove height in increments (see photo). The legs have a hard plastic foot, which isn't bad, but we were afraid might scratch the hardwood floor. We attached felt tabs that had adhesive backing, just to be safe (see photo). Both beds easily fit into an existing bed frame when you remove the slats that support the old box spring (see photo showing one of the 2 in place). All the cords lay on the floor, much to the dismay of my lovely wife who like an easy to clean household. To maintain happiness in said household, I twist tied them up and out of the way onto the frame, taking care not to tie to any moving frame parts or where moving frame parts contact each other. There is a battery backup box that gets plugged in tandem with the power brick, incase of power outages. Good design thought here. They tell you in the instructions, and on a decal on the outside of the battery backup box, not to leave the batteries in as they, over long periods of time, can leak acid and ruin the box. This is true and power outages are rare but I didn't want to have to crawl under the bed to access the battery box the power ever did decide to go out. So, instead of having the wired battery box lay on the floor, I zip tied them to the base of our bed frame for easier access (see photo). VERY quiet , smooth and comfortable speed in operation. The under bed lighting is subtle and welcomed for those middle of the night relief breaks. 2 USB ports per bed are also welcome, too, placed at the outer edge under the head of the bed. Yes, under, not on the side. Once you have whatever charging cable plugged in here, you'll probably want to leave the cables plugged in there and plug/unplug the device you're charging instead. Not sure we will ever use the massage feature, which is a good design but kind of a novelty. We definitely wanted the ability to have memory presets, the one touch zero-G position, one touch anti-snore position (my wife thanks you) and the under bed lighting. The massage just happened to come with the package. Very well made, very quiet and very sad we didn't get one these YEARS ago. As a 54 year old male, the zero-G offers welcomed back relief (which has had herniated disc surgery). And my wife (who remains ageless) says she has never slept so well. The bed package we created was completely from Amazon and for thousands (yes, thousands) less than an area chain store quoted us. Just got my split king a few weeks ago and very satisfied so far. I spent significant time trying to find a reasonably priced adjustable base with the features of this bed. Most were either double the price, or if they were within price range they were missing some of the same features (under bed light, massage, etc.) or required an additional warranty for anything beyond a few years. While hesitant on ordering something this significant from Amazon, I decided to move forward. Shipping happened in just a few days and two large heavy boxes were left on the doorstep. For the split king there are two individual twin xl beds - one in each of the boxes. The beds are folded in half, with all the components & needed wires on the inside of the fold (which is the underside of the bed frame). You start by cutting all the tie-wraps that are holding the boxes, the end retainer bar, the instruction booklet, and connecting bed strap (to hold the two twins side-by-side for a king). 3 of the boxes contain the legs, which just need to be hand tightened and hand screwed into the 6 bed frame leg slots (height of your choosing). You then plug the power cords together, get the beds into place, and then if you want them synchronized there is just one cord that needs to be plugged into each side of the bed into the one open connection slot. Assembly Recommendation - I was initially trying not to disassemble my bed frame, but decided to do it (it was simple) and it made the install much easier. By taking off the side rails and the foot-board, I could get the beds in around the right place, and once setup I just pushed them a couple feet into place. So if you can, I would separate or disassemble your bed frame, get the assembly done, connect them, push the bases into place and then reassemble bed frame. One note on measurements - I did have a wooden support bar on the bottom part of my headboard that made the length fit be really tight and prevented the top of the base from going all the way down. This made for a little work to remove this pre-installed bar, but was just part of the process. The remote is nice and works as expected. To program any one of the three manual programmable positions, once the bed is in the position you want it to be in, you just have to hold down the number for a few seconds until the remote flashes. I couldn't find this instruction anywhere. The underbed light is nice and not too bright. The massage feature can be turned on for the head or foot, or both at the same time. It frankly is really just a vibration, but while watching TV it is nice to have on for a bit. I have an full innerspring mattress - Winkbed. The bed has no trouble adjusting to this base, though it does seem to seem like it does slide a few inches towards the end of the bed since most of the time we have the head up some. With the head up, you are definitely further away from your nightstands (you have to turn and reach to get something from them). This isn't just for this bed from what I've seen - most have similar challenge. My only small issue is that with either remote, it seems like when having head or foot go up or down, one side goes up or down just a little further than the other. This is nothing noticeable with the mattress on, and I have yet to contact the company about it, but just wanted to write it in case someone else encountered. Overall, for ease of install, the features, and the warranty, I'm happy with my purchase so far. Glad I made the decision I did (to-date).

Have ordered two of these so far, one for my wife and myself and one for our daughter. They come well packaged and with directions that are easy to understand. I would recommend having two people work on it because it gets a bit cumbersome to move on your own. After removing the packaging and zip ties used to protected it during shipping, you basically put the legs on. You have a number of options for leg height so you can have you mattress higher or lower off the floor. The remote works well, has a number of options, and the vibrating function is nice. Both my wife and daughter like to read or paint in bed so they really enjoy the adjust-ability. Great purchase and at a far better price than in the mattress store for even better quality.

I almost purchased a different adjustable bed frame from a mattress manufacturer, which cost over $100 more and had less features! Glad I went with this one! We're very happy with it so far! Boxes arrived very slightly banged up, but overall mostly undamaged. FedEx set them up on their sides against my garage, even though the boxes had a clear "this end up" marking on them - which concerned me slightly. Upon opening the boxes, it was obvious everything was packaged well, and there was no damage to contents. I put it together by myself, and it was pretty easy - although it is fairly heavy and would have been easier with another person for when the frames needed to be lifted. Other than that it was a snap to put together. No tools were required. If you're inserting the frame inside bed furniture (like I did - in a canopy bed), it can be a little tricky attaching the straps that keep the two frames together, which can only be done after the two frames are placed inside the furniture. Had to raise/lower the head and foot of each frame at different heights and do a little acrobatics, but got the straps on. It works quite well! I know the description mentions how quiet the motors are - but they were even quieter than I expected! Almost can't hear them at all. Love the zero-g setting - very comfortable! I'm using it with Cocoon by Sealy mattresses, and no problems at all. Under bed lighting is a nice lighting effect. Massage is cool - but it scares my goldendoodle every time I turn it on, and she jumps off the bed! LOL! Very happy with this purchase, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an adjustable frame!

We looked at several adjustable bases both in-store and online. We decided to get the split king adjustable base made by Blissful Nights (based on the great reviews and lower price point). Once it arrived (10/18/19) we noticed some damage on the outside of the shipping boxes, but everything appeared to be fine inside. Assembly (10/19/19) was fast (as advertised) with no tools required. However, one of the wingnuts was missing for the mattress stopper (not sure what the part is officially called that stops the mattress from sliding forward as you operate the base, so we will go with mattress stopper for now) and one of the remotes didn't come with batteries while the other did. I thought I could find a wingnut at Home Depot, but they didn't seem to have the right size. Despite this, I purchased some batteries for the remote (while at Home Depot) and installed the mattress stopper with only one wingnut. We put our new twin xl Tempurpedic Adapt mattresses on the base and tried it out. The incline was impressive, and zero G felt amazing. However, when I activated the massage function the mattress stopper started buzzing a bit because of that missing part. Overall it seems like a good purchase. I will update the review after customer service has a chance to get me the part I need (hopefully in a timely manner). Update 11/13/19: customer service initially sent us some adapter instead of the wingnut. After a second attempt, they did send the correct part. Overall we like the bed, and customer service was okay.

I recently purchased a new mattress from Wink Beds. The adjustable base that they were selling to go with this was double the price, and looked to be almost identical. I saw this had great reviews, so ordered this instead. It arrived quickly. The box was left by FedEx on the driveway, which was annoying. It is very heavy and required me to find a friend with a dolly to bring it into the house. It took two of us and a lot of huffing and puffing. That was the hardest part. Set up directions were very easy and straightforward and it took less than 30 minutes (most of which were spent reading the directions) before the base was up and ready to go. This bed fit perfectly inside my existing wooden bed frame, once I removed the slats that supported the old box spring. I saw some reviews about mattresses slipping on the base. I was worried this might happen. However, I have to say, with my Wink Bed, the mattress is an innerspring bed with a foam/gel infused top and weighs over 125 lbs (queen). I was nervous about an inner spring mattress working with this base. Several reviewers mentioned that a foam mattress is what is designed to go on it. Happily, my 14", inner spring mattress works like a dream with this base. No sliding or moving has been noticed. I can feel the massage working, and the zero gravity feature is fantastic. The base supports up to 750 lbs. with the mattress. It is a heavy duty, well constructed product, and I couldn't be happier. The lighting underneath the bed is soft and allows for easily checking if the cat has gone under the bed before you adjust it (make sure the pets aren't under while you are moving it). I've only had it a few weeks, but so far, I'm so pleased that I didn't order the $1400 version of this. An excellent, long over due purchase. Love being able to sit up and watch tv/read in bed.

My wife and I have a Sleep Number split king mattress set. When we purchased this, we really wanted the adjustable frame, but it was just too much money. Fast forward eight years, and we decided to look into getting that frame again. The price had gone up, though, and even getting the previous model frame (they had a couple left in the warehouse), we were looking at over three thousand dollars installed. And for that price, we would only be getting one remote. After learning this, I decided to see what other people were saying about the frame. An Internet search led me to the product page for this frame, and I am so happy it did. I was a bit nervous about ordering something like this sight unseen, but the positive reviews and the huge price difference (one third the price!) convinced us to place the order. The frames arrived well wrapped, which was good because the boxes had clearly been mishandled. But everything inside was in perfect order. We followed the advice in One of the reviews here and disconnected the headboard and footboard and moved the two struts that connect these out of the way. This took less than a minute and allowed easy access to place and position the adjustable frames (there are two because we have a split king). They are quite heavy, so I am really glad we did that. We had 3 people to move things, but 2 could pull it off. Installation was really easy. Basically you just screw on the legs, flip the frame over, position the frame and connect the power supply. Note that the manufacturer now seems to be securing the wires to the frame, so we didn't have the issue reported by other reviewers with the wires hanging down to the floor. The bed motors are quiet and quick, and all the features work as advertised. My wife and I love the bed, and every time we lay down on it, we'll get the added satisfaction of knowing that we saved (literally) thousands of dollars by buying this instead of the frame from Sleep Number.
