So happy with our new bed from Sven & Son! The bed is well constructed and assembly was very easy (the frames are very heavy, but my husband and I were able to lift them in place). We have a platform bed with storage, so we attached the frame to the platform and ordered the side retainer bars from Sven & Son's website to keep the split king mattresses together. For those having trouble with making the bed on a split king, I highly recommend quickzip sheets. I also recommend two queen sized duvets or comforters instead of one king sized comforter so there is no fighting over the covers.

Compression fracture T12 in back waiting for surgery. It keeps breaking a bit more every few days. Haven't slept in a bed in over a month. This bed (Platinum with 12 inch mattress adjustable split king) arrived Friday. Put together Saturday, was difficult to turn right side up and get the legs on. rest was easy. Interesting watching mattresses expand went from very soft to firm in 2 days. OMG slept for 6 straight hours first time in bed!!! Very comfortable. ZG setting didn't feel right to me so I set a different one. Everything works great, massage feature is interesting, may use the low setting as it is soothing. My 2 pups are figuring out how to sleep on it as well. I will order the side mattress holders as it does tend to slip off the foundation especially the top. Mattress this is our first foam, and you really need to wait and let it expand otherwise it does feel way to soft wraps you like a taco. After it firms up there is some give but when you lay down turns into nice support. Love the bed and mattresses. We are using twin exlong sheets and blanket with our old oversized king quilt.

Sven & Son Platinum Series Split King 12" medium Soft base. I have lower back pain and my old bed:... Well, it either made it worse or at least did not help. As of 3 days ago, I have this new bed, and here are my first impressions: The pro's: Communication: I communicated with Amazon my specific delivery needs. Sven&Son called back to communicate my options. The Trucking Company Followed up with an additional call to finalize. My delivery experience was perfect! The assembly of the base was as easy as it gets. (Cut a few zip ties, plug in the power cord, flip it around, screw in the feet - and done.) I was concerned that "Medium Soft" would be too soft for me, but it is not, I am happy that I did not pick "Firm" or "Plush". With the iPhone App, it is possible to set an alarm by changing the bed's position. Using a tablet or a laptop in bed is much more comfortable, watching TV might be better than on the couch. It's not a miracle cure, but my back feels better after 3 nights in this bed. The Con's: The Base is really (REALLY) heavy. I am glad that I did not have to move it up any stairs. Although I was able to set it up by myself, but only just. I certainly recommend a second person. I used 4 "Home depot buckets" to install the legs, in order to avoid bending them. It will take me some time to get used to the gap between the mattresses. The mattress seems to move off the frame on one side. The massage/vibrator is a joke, it hums more than it vibrates. It is noisier than I would have thought to adjust the bed. (The motor "whirrs".) Summary: We looked at a few beds in "bed stores", but they started either at $1500 - or $4000 above the price of this bed, depending on the store. It feels as if we have purchased a product of equal quality with considerable savings. If I would have the chance for a do-over, not only would I buy an adjustable bed again, I'd buy the very same bed from Sven&Son.

This is one of my best purchases ever! I had tried sleep number beds but they were out of my price range. I was little unsure about buying a bed online but all reviews spoke of the great customer service so I decided to order. I requested the white glove delivery service as I figured it was worth $250 to have it set up in my house & packaging taken away. I got a call from the white glove service wanting to deliver on a Weds. They were only able to deliver when I was at work so I called sleep geekz & was not sure what to do- they assured me that they would make it work. Not only did they get a different company to deliver on a day that worked ( although the other company couldn’t do set up) but they also refunded the white glove fee & gave me numbers of local people who would set it up. My handyman did it in under 30 minutes. The bed itself is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. I bought it for my knee replacement recovery which is in a few months never realizing what a difference it’d make even now! I did not think I’d ever use the massage function but it makes me fall asleep fast & I use it every night. Thank you Sleep Geekz for your amazing customer service & for providing me with the best bed ever.

Our split king platinum was delivered today. The two frames are boxed and come packaged in card board and secured to a wooden pallet. The two mattresses were also vacuum sealed and came in one box. Moving the beds in was not bad. I used two furniture skates rated for 1000lbs. I also built a wooden ramp to over come the step into the home. I simply positioned the skates aside the pallet and stood up one frame at a time then used a ratchet binder to secure it to the skate. First went rather easy. The second the skate got away from me but was still not that bad. The wife made sure they stayed vertical while i pulled the skates. With a bit if planning its not that hard. Assembly was very simple. The legs break apart for a low set or high set frame off the floor. I put two full legs on one side and two half legs on the other. This made flipping the bed easy without applying too much weight on the legs. I also relocated the USB ports. There were two on either side. You just unscrew then and unravel the cords. Easy fix to relocate them. I have not mounted them yet as we are deciding on a head and foot board now. Overall i was concerned reading the other reviews of how heavy and difficult to assemble the bed. I found it rather simple. I had a harder time handling the old 12” foam king we replaced lol. Everything worked as advertised and so far so good.

On the first night I noticed a huge difference in my quality of sleep I suffered for many years with acid reflux. Treatments from medication and occasional a procedure where they put you under anesthesia expand your esophagus . Thankfully I have purchased this quality adjustable bed with a firmer mattress that is also supporting my back to help with back pain. I feel it more of a medical device more than an ordinary bed and mattress. If you are on the fence like I was for some time I strongly urge you to get this bed. It has been a life changer for myself.

Nice and sturdy. Very heavy and need At least 3 preferably 4 to vary each frame and to flip it over. One thing I didn't like was the USB on the bottom smashes the wire connection when the bed is all the way down. Ports should be on the sides. But the main issue is that after time the mattress don't get easier on side sleepers. I thought my body had to get use to the mattress so I kept waiting. and giving it a chance. Then I though maybe my hips and shoulders were having issues at 61 but as so as I roll on my side it is unbearable within a couple minutes. It said Med Firm mattress but after you sink through the memory foam it is like a rock underneath. I thought the springs would give in to the pressure points but that is not the case. The main reason why I purchased the bed was because my wife had vertebrate surgery and this bed could help her recover but she can't get comfortable on it and often sleeps on the sofa. Now I have to figure out how to resolve this issue so my wife an I can get some sleep. I don't know how I would return it when Amazon said take it to mail at UPS store like that is going to happen. That's not even possible because everything is heavy.... I will call the sleep Gekz and see what they say or just may have to get a mattress topper.

After trying out several beds in different stores and comparing what we wanted, my wife and I decided to go with Sven & Son on Amazon due to the great deal. We were a bit nervous not being able to try them out. However, we really needed an adjustable bed and weren't willing to spend the money of the high-end brands (although they were nice to check out). Amazon and the businesses they collaborate with have always been great to work with when returning or exchanging items, so we thought we'd give it a try. We received the bedframe and mattresses a week or so after ordering and set the frames up without any issues. We took off the shrink wrap on the mattresses and let them expand for the 48-hour period before sleeping on them. After the first few nights, we determined that the 12-inch mattresses were too firm and called to exchange them. It was disappointing because we had tried so many beds ahead of time and figured out which level of mattress we needed. Unfortunately, this did not correlate to what we tried. Knowing Amazon will exchange within 30 days, I called Sven & Son for the exchange. At first, the customer care person said I would have to donate the mattresses (two king XL), get the receipt and send a copy so I could get a refund to buy two more mattresses in the 14 in plush. That was a little strange, but I agreed that would be fine and to please send over the email to start the process because the cost was the same for the mattresses. A few minutes later, I received another call and this time the customer care person said, I could keep them (due to COVID they can't take them back) but for an exchange, I had to pay an additional $650 ($325 each). How am I supposed to trial a mattress and determine if it is ok without sleeping on it first? I told them it was unacceptable and would like two new mattresses. These are brand new!!!! I even suggested I could pay the shipping cost to get the new mattresses but the $650 was unreasonable!!! It is really unfortunate because the adjustable bedframes are great, but the customer service is terrible. I will never buy another product from Sven & Son again. DO NOT BUY! IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, YOU CAN'T RETURN IT!
