Before purchasing this, please be aware of the potential quality issues as well as whether the "warranty?" can be relied upon. I purchased this light fixture several months ago. It looks super and I like it very much -- when it works. I was finally able to get an electrician to install this three months ago on a vaulted ceiling over a small dining table. The wiring starting failing last month such that one or more of the lights flicker and turn off for a period of time and will then turn back on after a time. Some days the lights work perfectly. Most days not so much. After double checking to ensure it was not the lights themselves that were the problem, I came to the conclusion there must be a loose wire connection within the fixture or the wiring itself is failing. However, I am not an electrician and don't "do" light fixtures so I contacted the seller (who also represents itself as the manufacturer). Short story: Lots of words and assurances but no real solutions offered. My written request for a new fixture so that we could return the intermittently working one was ignored. This would mean they would be paying for shipping both ways, something they were clearly reluctant to do. Rather, they insisted that I should be able to rewire the fixture myself with the wiring material they would happily (and *eventually*) supply. As it turns out, they happen to be fresh out of these wiring units and it could be a month or more before I received this. Thankfully, after contacting Amazon I was able to get a full refund. Conclusions: The Upside-- This fixture is not that expensive and works well in farmhouse decor. This Downside-- You might get a fixture with faulty wiring. In this case, if you can rewire intermittently working fixtures (and wait a month + to receive said wiring supplies), this lighting fixture is for you. If not, expect a lack of resolution and the need to repurchase another fixture after receiving a refund from Amazon. ... show more

Holes for support rods don't match up exactly right. To get them in I had to put one in loosely and kinda force the other one in. It made the rods to not be straight but it was the only way to make it work. If you insert one rod the other will not line up as it should. I had an issues that I could line up the screws so I had to improvise. Looks good now though. Nice but much nice at a lower price point ... show more

My husband found it easy to install and I get a lot of compliments from guests. The only thing not giving it 5 stars is the difference in the color of the wood. The picture lead me to believe it was a darker brown, but in reality, it was much lighter. To me it has more of a golden color rather than a brown that it displays in the picture. ... show more
