I wanted to upload a video but it was too long.. I only needed a printer for shipping labels and this one turned out to be very good at it so everything that comes along is a PLUS! I saw a comment saying that the instructions were in another language and well, mine came in English and EVEN with pictures guiding you through the app. It does requiere you to download the app and it’s free and without subscriptions, VERY easy to use for whoever willing to read and learn and it allows you to CREATE barcodes, QR codes, print images, change the density of the ink, change the cut on the label, change the size.. I don’t know about you but I don’t need all that and I just LOVE IT (along with other bunch of features I don’t know about but seem pretty cool for whoever understands them).. so all I have to say is: It does the job. As a tech savvy human, I felt pretty low about this one. Terrible machine for set up, and use. Options are in Asian language in the print menu. Ridiculous to sell in primarily English market and not provide English options. There are not manuals. You have to watch YouTube videos that are super sonic speed. Description here states it can do small labels— it cannot. It never worked on a 2x3. It’s not even an option in the print menu. (For the two that are in English read numbers! Since I don’t read the language it’s printed in, I couldn’t say if they have numbers or not.) I tried to make custom size label per tech support website, and it did not work. Rarely it connected to Bluetooth but kept losing connectivity. Fine if all you want to print is 4x6 shipping labels from a photo only from laptop. The iOS phone app did not work. Says you can print circles, but it never aligned, no matter how many times I reset the printer, performed alignments, etc. After five hours and 3 rolls of labels wasted, I gave up. The only thing it printed was the shipping label to send it back!! I’m over it! ... show more

Printer works great. I've always just used my printer but my printer has not been the best cause it is like 15years old. Well, I decided to get this thermal printer for easier use plus no ink needed. So y not. So far, it prints great. Just a little lighter than expected, hence the 1 star deducted, but seems like it scans fine at the post office. Needing Mac compatibility has limited my options for a single label printer. My first choice made based on price got me what I paid for. Set up was not straightforward (I'm a very experienced user). Print quality was 2/5—readable, but not consistent. And then it wouldn't print at all. Which brings me to the Svantto 4B-2063C. Not only did they list Mac compatibility, it was backed up by excellent documentation—in the manual that they link to in the product description, and set-up videos for all platforms. Once set up, it printed. The letters were dark and consistent and it was fast. While I don't see when the printer was introduced, the older connection types lead me to believe the product has been around for some time—which, to me, is always a good sign. ... show more

    • Nice but a little glitchy
I like it but sometimes it acts like it doesn’t want to turn on and I have to mess with it for a minute to get it to turn on. The first print almost always comes out slightly messed up and patchy so I usually have to do a reprint. Wastes some of my labels doing reprints. It’s a nice machine it just seems like it has some kinks that need to be worked out. ... show more
