My last air fryer by another famous maker did not last all that long. And was very noisy Results were not always consistent. And was higher priced. But when it broke I really missed it. On a much tighter budget right now that I have retired fully. I saw this one. Great price, plus it was on sale and had very good reviews. I am so glad I did. This is a large 8 quart machine. The volume seems to be primarily in its drawer length. But it is plenty deep as well. It is attractive on my counter as well. I have cooked twice in it. First time some frozen French fries. The crispness of them was soooo much better than my old machine with very even cooking. The same thing when I used it a second time to make some frozen breaded fish. Turned out very crispy. The machine is so quiet I kept going and feeling of it to make sure it was working. My old one, the sides of the machine got very hot. This one, sides are slightly warm to touch, but nothing more. The buttons on the front work very well. I am curious about the roasting feature and can’t wait until whole chickens go on sale as I want to try it. But so far am loving the machines look, functionality , ease of use and how very quiet it is. And. Last but definitely not least, it produces a superior result when compared to my old machine Update: Several months later, almost daily use. Sometimes a couple of times daily. It still works great and I feel it has already worked better than other much more famous air fryer brands for me. Very large basket. Multi functional as far as roasting, baking, air frying. A couple of larger things I have put in that were probably too tall, close to the heating mechanism did burn on the top, but that was my error. The buttons are a little picky. By that I mean one function you have to press on it for a second or two to turn it on. Others you need to quickly press and remove your finger But I still give it five stars because it is such a huge improvement over a much more expensive unit I had prior to this one that did not last even 6 months. And it does a better job. The frozen fries are crispy. Just a nice job overall.

Got this Sept. 2024'. This unit is very similar to instant Pot older original model. They have a new model but it costs more than this oven. The Instant Pot I had eventually failed. Trash. But loved it. That Instant Pot model cooked quicker than this by 30-40%. This may be because of a smaller capacity than the Sur la table. I like the larger capacity because I get more even cooking on the bottom side as more air can move around to the underside. This lets me put the same amount of food as instant pot on a tray, and have better circulation to the bottom side. I flip some things and not others. Fish sticks are something I flip. I take the tray and set it down and put the extra tray over top and flip the two trays over together. Then put the cold tray with the food back in the oven, so this way I didn't have to turn each item individually. Instant Pot I would usually cook fish sticks 13min, ck nuggets 9min, taquitos 5min and the like at 370° for this unit I do max temp 400° and I have to cook 30-40% longer time. But Instant Pot unit failed in a few years, so if this unit last a test of time it is better.

Have had this airfryer for almost a year now and it is a good value for the money. It has a large capacity. I have 2 teenage boys and can usually cook enough for the 3 of us at one time. The digital display is pretty nice as it allows you to precisely select the temperature as opposed to ones with a dial. It cooks evenly and the removable grease tray makes ckeaning it very easily and its a nonstick material which makes it even easier. The only thing I would change about this and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five is that you cant input the temp or time you have to increase or decrease with a + - which does take some time. Would be much easier if it had numbers you could press like a microwave. Overall a great value though.

Pros: Clean up is very easy. I like the light that lets me check on the food without opening. Still getting the hang of using it vs my old air fryer. Cons: As other users have noted, the first few times I used this air fryer there was definitely a smell that came from it. Like burning plastic. It didn't affect the taste of food, but it was really strong at first and took more that 2 or 3 uses to go away. Overall, very happy with it.

I was skeptical, but now I'm a believer! I love to "revive" day-old sandwiches by giving them a quick toast inside and out. We have used it to cook crab cakes; it works much better and is more accessible than the broiler in our oven. Pizza leftovers? Yes Please! I like the features of this unit, but I need to use the light feature more. If you want to know how something is cooking, slide it out and take a look as this air fryer picks up the timer where you left off. Great for baking potatoes, reviving yesterday's french fries, you name it—best kitchen invention since the microwave. This is a solidly built unit that we use much more than we thought when we initially purchased it.
