I was hesitant to purchase this since there are so many umbrellas on the market, and I wasn't sure it would be durable since it was on the cheaper end. I'm very pleased with it! I love how vibrant the blue is.. it matches my pool liner perfectly. Only negative is that it makes a creaky sound when you wind it up and down or when the wind blows hard. I would buy this again, and I think it is just as good as the more expensive ones out there! Update: It had been 2 years since I bought this and it's still holding up nicely!!

I loved the umbrella so much that I ordered another one for my second patio table! They make my pation look rich, especially with the red color against the lush green of the yard. The umbrella was easy for me to put together, just two pieces. The mechanism works well to open and close it. It's quite sturdy, although I will have to wait for the first storm to see how well it fares.

Aqua Blue - Arrived on time as promised. Great packaging. - No tears in the packaging. The umbrella inside came tightly packed in a heavy duty plastic cover. The umbrella is absolutely gorgeous. The color is definitely aqua blue but more aqua than turquoise. I am so pleased with this umbrella. I ordered an umbrella last summer from another vendor and while it has held up, they sent me the wrong color and I should have returned it because it was a horrible yellowish green. I decided to bite the bullet and order this on ($4.00 more) and I am so glad I did. I gave the old umbrella to a neighbor whose umbrella broke. I highly recommend this umbrella. It appears to be sturdy and good quality fora $44.00 umbrella. I have seen similar umbrellas in retail upwards from $49.99 into the hundreds. I don't know if it will fade as I am sure it just may being in the Southern California sun but I will just replace it if it does. At this price I can buy one every year. LOL

Well, I fell for price this time and you do not get something for nothing. I thought I had nothing to lose for $42 for this umbrella. Wrong. This thing came out of the box falling apart, not from shipping but because it it put together with little bent wire pieces that hold the top together (well, it does NOT hold the top together) and about the thinnest metal that foundries can produce. When I put it up and raised it, all of the top pieces flew out and the small ring of metal (about the thickness of a coat hanger wire) and one of them tore the fabric; after about an hour I was able to route all of the ribs back into the wire ring and into place and got that fixed. While working on it, I noticed about 10-15 small spots in every inch of fabric where the dye (red) had not taken....rubbing on them caused more red to come off...this thing has been SPRAYED red, not even red dyed fabric! NOTICE the ad says "8 sturdy ribs".....maybe the ribs are sturdy by someone's standard, but they are not adequate. This is not even worth hauling to the dump. I am going to pursue getting a refund from Amazon....this thing is horrible.

So far so good. I’ve had it a week and it looks nice. Not the *best* quality but it’s a great umbrella for under $30. I’ll be interested to see how it holds up over time. The sticker on the handle is backwards showing which way to crank it ....to raise up or down ....but other than that I have no complaints so far.

Beautiful color. It may fade from FL sun in the future but it will still be pretty. Quality good- we usually replace every 2 - 3 years. Price is well worth it. Because table is inside a pool lanai, I had to cut 2 1/2 inches off of the lower pole due to necessary table location but it’s perfect now & still high enough! Love sitting out there. Would purchase again. ~

I've tried to no avail to fix this obvious design flaw. Now I give up and write this review. The slightest breeze causes the retaining ring at the center post to expand. This then lets the umbrella arms fall loose. I would return, but the only box this umbrella is going into is the trash.
