This is my second stationary bike purchase. A few years ago, I purchased a Schwinn air dyne I didn't buy another one because of price point, and because service on the Schwinn was expensive. I decided to try the sunny stationary bike. The major differences between the two, other than cost is minimal. 1. The wheel is the same size. However, the fans with the Sunny wheel are much smaller see picture. Which means less exertion is necessary. This is not to say you don't get a good work workout. Actually, I find that I'm getting more of a cardio workout because I'm pushing harder and going faster. I also like that they have added a wind blocking guard. (Sometimes first thing in the morning I don't want to get hit with wind..). I've also noticed that it's a much quieter bike than my Schwinn. There is no tension controller, it is entirely up to you how fast and hard you want to push. 2. The computer panel is functional. I'm not one of those people that uses all the programs. This one gets the job done. I use the computer panel predominantly for time and intervals. 3. The sunny stationary bike is remarkably stable. I bought a mat to put under, which I highly recommend. However, there are wheels to help adjust stability in all four corners. See photo. 4. The bike comes with front, moving wheels and a handle on the back for easy mobility. 5. This bike was remarkably easy to put together and came with all the necessary tools, which you can save and place in your toolbox. The tools were not some cheap offshoots whereby you dispose of them after use. Overall, this is a good bike for the price, and provides me with a good cardio workout. The machine rides like a dream! It is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a stationary bike. I prefer the wind resistance for sitting upright, arm action, and just enough resistance where you feel it by the end of the session. I had a spin bike, but my back hates the position. The size of the bike is perfect for the workout space I have, and not heavy to lift and roll away when I need the space for weight lifting. I also appreciate the cover for the wheel fan. It’s part of the reason why I chose this bike. I don’t want to breathe dust from the floor (no matter how much I clean…). The wheel fan is pretty quiet. It wouldn’t bother the lightest sleeper. It was a relatively easy assembly. However, the bike arrived slightly damaged from shipping. (No fault of the manufacturer!) When I saw the side of the shipping box was ripped with a gaping hole, I had a feeling something got damaged. It happened to be the back foot holder (as I have pictured). I had to take a hammer and pound out the bend in order to get the foot screwed on, but it wouldn’t completely bow back. So I could only align three screws. The fourth hole couldn’t be found bc of the damage/bend. The only other damage was the secure screw holder for the right arm had popped out (also pictured). This was to keep the arm secure at the joint — joining the arm to the pedal wings. There’s a slight wobble despite the screws are very secured. This is why I knocked a star off. The machine would have been perfect had not shipping been poorly executed. ... show more

I used an assault bike for 2 years and owned an echo bike for 3. I like chain air bikes better for endurance and they also do hiit well. I don’t think the echo bike is well suited for long endurance for me so I sold mine. This thing seems to have the exact same drivetrain as the assault bike classic. It has more trim covers to protect it. The monitor seems to work fine; I got much better contrast on it once I put a fresh set of batteries in it. The calorie count is quite stingy. Kind of like the echo. The arm handles are nice and tight. The pedals are a little narrow and seem to be threaded non standard so I couldn’t put mtb pedals on it. Resistance feels exactly the same as the assault bike. The seat is perfect. It’s a good buy at $400. There’s plenty of other options at $670. One week use update: the bike is awesome, it got smoother as the miles went on. The pedal slips off my shoes and so I put a 9/16 mtb pedal on and it’s much better. Helped the crank Q factor narrow a little bit too which was good. ... show more

Well built and replaced my 15 year old Schwinn Airdyne that had approximately 4,000 miles on it. I couldn’t get the replacement parts anymore. This trainer is solid and much more quiet running than the Airdyne ever was. I highly recommend this trainer!
