Hi! - TLDR; I'm now on my 2nd one, 1st one broke but only after 500+ hours of cardio... I'm giving it 5 stars; please read if you're having an internal debate! I don't review things much, but here I go. I asked for this for Christmas nearly 3 years ago. I am a working mom with two toddlers that didn't want to spend nap time working out on a treadmill, I wanted to spend that time resting myself, or catching up on chores abandoned during my 40+ work week. Moms of toddlers know they aren't about to sit in a workout room and allow mom to spend 45 mins running on a treadmill anyway. This thing is such a game changer and has been for three years. I start with about 25 mins in the eating area, then simply drag it to the play area. I can get 45-50 mins of sweat equity in (I'm a cardio fanatic), even though most people would benefit from 30 or less. I have always been a workout, and this thing gets my heart rate to the ideal spot (more than running, which I still do when hubby is home), and it definitely helps maintain muscle strength in the quads, glutes, and calve areas with the resistance on it, even if it is just a cardio day. I lift 4 days a week so I don't use the bands often and can't really speak to those. Also the space... anyone with a small home or apartment should consider this. Had I known this existed, knowing I already run outside 4-5 days a week, I'd have NEVER bought a treadmill and used this little baby, which stores away very nicely in a storage bench. My first one broke 2 days ago; I estimated the use I got out of it, and it was about 30,000 minutes overall, 500 hours about. I'm no mathematician, but for 60 bucks for three years of use, it was a pretty obvious choice for me to order a replacement (which came the same day). Because of the low cost, I wouldn't even recommend the 2yr warranty. Just grab a new one. My only complaint at all on this was the speaking noises that it started making about 2 years in. It drove me crazy, even after tightening every bolt and oiling the entire thing. Not sure what that was about, but it's a tiny burden for all the good workouts this device gave me, and the squeaking was still way quietet than a treadmill motor. 😂 ... show more

I’m really happy with the Sunny Health & Fitness Mini Stair Stepper. It’s compact, easy to use, and provides a great workout without taking up much space. The resistance bands are a nice bonus and allow you to work your upper body while stepping. My only flaw with it is that the steps can be a bit slippery, so I have to be mindful of my footing while using it. Other than that, it’s a great little machine and a convenient way to get a good workout at home. Overall, I would definitely recommend it! ... show more

Best purchase ever, and that's saying a lot because I have a shopping addiction lol 😆. In all honesty though, I didn't think this was capable of giving me the hard workout I was wanting, but I bought it anyway, to try it out. There is tension in the steppers which really gives your legs a workout, and gets me out of breath quickly. I have to do it in 5 minute intervals, because it really takes my breath away and gives me a really good workout. It's small, which is perfect because I don't have a lot of room in my cottage. I put it under my bed when I'm not using it. I do find it hard to use without gripping onto a wall or something because it's fairly unstable to use on its own, which isn't a big deal for me, I just hold onto the wall while I'm using the stepper. As many have said, this little stepper is fantastic! It is sturdy, it is well done and IT HAS A FANTASTIC app to go with it! Ir connects via Bluetooth so it records all your workouts. What's more, the app has a free workout mode, training classes and travel the world. I took a 10 minute whole body intro class and it was fantastic! I broke a sweat big time and it was very well done. It is sturdy yet lightweight enough, it doesn't take much room, it's fully assembled when you get it out of the package. The little monitor on it works very well but I prefer to see my progress in the app. I feel so excited about working out on this little thing and I am certain it'll help me achieve my goals as a mom of 7 kiddos! Great job Sunny Health! PS- the app wasn't counting my steps and I couldn't figure out because the stepper was connected. It was because the lever was too loose, so it wasn't making a full step. It works great and is a nice size. I can leave it out, and it doesn't look bad or take up much space. It also fits nicely under my bed or our couch. The reason for the 3 stars is that the digital readout never worked. I tried everything, but nothing worked. It is quiet and very solid and sturdy.

If you wake up early in addition to if you live in bear country and cannot run until 9am - 10am I would highly recommend this.
