  • Absolutely amazing for weight loss! Be careful if for therapy reasons (see review 2nd paragraph)...
Style: Manual
The media could not be loaded. I've only had this treadmill for two days and I fell in love with it after the first 20 minutes! I take my dog on a walk frequently, but those are leisure walks and I needed something more to burn off the calories. I do home yoga and light weight lifting, but still needed something more and this was perfect! Any who are interested in using this for therapy reasons should not buy. Under the safety info., number 10 states "The equipment is not suitable for therapeutic use". Because of the incline, I can see why it might be difficult. But it's great for an easy workout. After reading the reviews, I found a solution for any who were concerned about falling off. They sell treadmill waist safety bands. But if you have any resistance bands, I took my 50, 40 and 30 pound bands and used the straps it came with to create a safety band. I wouldn't recommend only using one band. It works amazingly and I'm able to use my arms freely and walk at a much better pace. I'm able to use my fitness watch and hit my goal of 5,000 steps in about 40-60 minutes depending on my speed. This treadmill is in my bedroom. I am one the second floor and I could've have scooted/pushed the treadmill upstairs if necessary but I did have help in carrying it. It may be a little heavy for some. Assembly was super easy, basically there's only 4 steps. I did not have assistance with it. I did use my own tools. I would put aside an hour to set it up, make sure it goes together, it fits in the spot, etc., but that was me leisurely putting it together. Make sure you line up the left and right because I accidentally didn't and that what added the extra time for me. But if you're great at instructions the first time, you can very easily assemble this in 15-20 minutes. It collapses very nicely, just have to remove a lock screw from the bottom and put it on top. I keep the treadmill at the foot of my bed and then move it out and put it front of my tv. I have small recliner right behind me and a couple inches in front. Not necessarily a tight fit, which was one of the selling points for me and the limited space in my bedroom. To make the treadmill more enjoyable, I'll either put on a treadmill/walk/hike on my TV (which has YouTube on it) and walk the amount of time of the video or put on a 45 minute TV show and then a 15 minute trail walk so I get about an hour workout a day. It's absolutely amazing how much of a decent sweat you get. I wish my TV was a little higher, but nothing I can do about that lol. I absolutely would recommend this product to any who are looking to lose weight or at least use it to keep from gaining any more. It's amazing, compact and easy to use and put away. Definitely a great buy! ... show more

  • Good, Functional, basic manual treadmill well priced
Style: Manual
Exactly as described. I recommend it to budget-minded consumers. It's a basic manual treadmill and is small enough not to be intrusive in any space. It seems sturdy enough for fast paced walking. I generally don't run on it, but it functioned fine when I did run. The pedometer on it didn't work, but every treadmill I ever owned had similar problems. It was easy to assemble and light to move around from room to room if needed. ... show more

  • Good price
Style: Manual
I've been deluged with the DeerRun walking pad ads on Facebook. I've never really been interested in treadmills before, mostly because they seemed way too expensive and way too heavy/unwieldy. But I peeked at Amazon to check out "walking pads." I might have gone with the DeerRun, but I knew I would need handlebars which jacked the price way up for them. Enter the Sunny treadmill. The non-motorized aspect appealed to me very much (weighs less, fewer things to break down). I've known about non-motorized treadmills but mostly the fancy curved ones that cost a month's rent (also I'm not at all a runner, so that level of sophistication would be wasted on my slower pace). I was pleasantly surprised to see this one at such an affordable price. I've bought other Sunny Fitness products and have never been disappointed in their quality for the price. This was super simple to assemble. Basically attach the base and the handles and you're good to go. (The instructions advise 2 people for the job, but it turns out the styrofoam packing that comes with it is the perfect size to slide under the main body to hold it up while you screw things in.) The main body is not heavy at all. I could easily carry it around with one arm (I'm a fairly out-of-shape woman in my mid 50s, although I've always been a little stronger than my peers). Unfortunately when you attach the other parts it becomes pretty unwieldy (I had to carry it upstairs to my office. Still do-able alone, albeit slowly). At first I thought the incline was adjustable as there are two holes on the left side with a pull-out pin, but these seem to just be to secure the main body in the up or down position (honestly, I don't see the reason for this. It's not positioned correctly to hold it in the upright position, and with the body down on the floor it's really not going anywhere. Certainly not back up!) I'm just enough out of shape that even this tiny incline kicks my butt and makes me feel a little unsafe with sliding off the back. I created a DIY solution by leveling it off with some very heavy solid shelves I had. Probably not OSHA approved, but it feels safe enough for me. (Use this idea at your own risk.) The great: It folds up and down very easily and smoothly, and in the folded position it fits perfectly against the wall in my office. The non-motorized belt works pretty smoothly as well, once you get going, and of course stops even easier. It's very quiet. I used it with my partner sleeping in the next room and she couldn't hear a thing. Also no floor vibrations at all, another concern as we share a duplex and I know how annoying vibrations from neighbors can be. You can run on it (well, jog. Like I said, the only thing that will get me to run is if I'm being chased). The weight limit is 220 pounds, and I'm right there on the edge. I don't feel like I'm taxing it at all, so maybe even a little heavier would be manageable. The not so good: Pretty much the only bad thing I can think of is the handlebars. They do the job, but they aren't rock solid. If you pull back hard enough they do lift up off the floor a little. But at this price point you have to expect some compromise. That's really the only drawback I can think of. But again, at this price I wasn't expecting commercial gym quality. I didn't even bother attaching the "computer" because I don't care about that data and I already have a fitness watch. I saw a surprising number of these available used on Facebook Marketplace, so reach your own conclusions about that (people unhappy with the quality or people who gave up on using it?) I preferred a new unit because the price was so reasonable. So far I'm very happy with my purchase! ... show more

  • Not good!
Style: Manual
This was horrible! I bought one and after it came it had clearly been opened, used, and returned already. They sent me another one and it was in better condition, but after assembling (which was a long process), I realized why the other one had been returned. The treadmill slants so much you basically have to walk super fast or run to keep up. You feel like you are out of control on it. It would be REALLY difficult to use if you aren’t used to working out or aren’t in good shape. I am in good shape. I run outside 3-4 miles a day. I bought this treadmill to have in my living room and walk slowly on while watching TV. I live in an upper apartment so I needed something quiet that wouldn’t bang the floor. I opted for this one because I thought that it being manual, instead of electronic with a motor would be quieter. I was wrong. It is very loud! Every step you take is a huge thump and impact on the floor. The actual belt swishing is loud as well. I couldn’t use this with neighbors below me or beside me! The hand rail is also quite flimsy and I didn’t feel totally supported when using it. I ended up returning it. Don’t be fooled by other reviews! This isn’t quiet or easy to use! ... show more
