I was able to assemble the bike, but could not get the tension dial correct. A friend was able to fix the tension dial for me. The rest was a piece of cake. The bike is now perfect. Exactly what I wanted.

05/14/20, negotiated and coordinated a direct swap with the company after a lot of emails going back and forth. They agreed to do a swap and I went to them since I’m familiar with their location and we did the exchange. I’m pleased they took that route cuz I did enjoy the bike when it worked. Fingers crossed this one has no issues with the belt. Changing my 1 star to 3 and if this lasts longer than the 1st time the belt popped I’ll change to 4. Just wanted to update all that it took some time but I got the resolution I expected. Unfortunately as of 04/28/20, after purchasing early 12/2019 my belt has come off for the 3rd time. I received and fee belay struggled to get it on and within a month it has slipped off for the 3rd time. I now have to check it again. It’s so disappointing as I do enjoy it. The sad part, is I’m only riding a a tension of 1 - 4 only. Belt came off on tension 1! I recently had 2 surgeries and like the ease and quietness of it. Too bad it seems to be made poorly. Most reviews I have seen is the belt issue. Too bad I didn’t read them closer.

Arrived ahead of schedule. Found it to be extremely easy to put together. Took about 1.5 hours. It's great because 98% of nuts, washers and bolts were already in their correct place so you didn't need to search for the correct ones. Things to take note of...(1) I was extremely impressed with how quiet the machine is (2) I would advise buying some Loctite Thread Locker when constructing any exercise equipment with moving parts...saves you from headaches down the road (3) Definitely look into getting a gel seat cushion...the issued one is almost as bad as sitting on a hardwood floor (4) 95% of this machine can be constructed solo...I would advise a second set of hands for ease especially when attaching the tension cable to the dial. Can definitely be done alone...but some help will make it that much easier. I purchased this recumbent bike for my mother whose in her mid 70's. I knew if I couldn't find something that made it super easy for her to approach...then she would never continue exercising. She absolutely loves it. The seat is basically the height of a dining room chair...so she finds it extremely stress free getting on and off it. She recently had hip surgery and this machine keeps her active. It's got a great monitoring system (though the instructions could be a little more user friendly) with all the bells and whistles to help keep track of everything...calories burned...distance traveled...heart rate...etc. All in all...I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase.

After 2 one hour work outs I got on it for a third time and after 2 minutes I heard a "pop" and then I had no tension. My very handy husband looked at it and the belt had come off. He put it back on (which was VERY difficult to do) and it keeps slipping off! He had to adjust a part that was not aligned making the belt slip. I am hoping this does the trick. I am going to order some replacement belts because if this continues I can see the belt wearing out fast. Assembly of the product was not easy, again my very handy husband did it. He struggled with the cable connecting to the console. If not for the belt issues I would have given this a 5 star rating. I LOVE the seat! I had an upright and could not use it because the seat hurt my hips, I do not have that problem on this bike. I love the ease of adjusting the seat. I also love the tension, it does not get so hard that you can't pedal but provides a nice resistance. I find the console very easy to read. I only wish that it kept track of life time miles.

Was easy to assemble and move around. I had the following issues with the quality of the product; there were several pitted and flaking paint areas on the front metal bar. There was also a small tear/hole in the front of the vinyl seat. The adjustment knob did not seem to work in regards to adjusting the tension. This also turned out not to be user-friendly for an 81 yr old with limited mobility issues in regards to being able to navigate getting her feet into the foot straps on the pedals. I ended up returning the bike, and ordering one of the under-desk elliptical style units where the feet rest on top of the pedals.

While assembly was easy, it does takes some time to follow the instructions and to select the correct parts. It helps if two people work together. Impressed with the easy with which all parts fit in place and with the included tools to assemble. No other tools were needed. We assembled the entire unit in less than one hour and one half. Computer was ready to use from the start—no added programming needed. I could tell when unpacking the unit that’s special care had been taken to assure that all parts arrived in perfect condition. Not one bolt or washer was missing —every part was ready to assemble. After we use this for a few months, I will offer comments regarding that.
