Tore ligaments in my knee and, while healing, gradually built up to using a really nice recumbent bike at my physical therapist. Then I wanted something for home, to help me build strength on a daily basis. BUT I did not want to spend a lot. Was going to look at second-hand ones for sale in my city, but then saw this for $200 with great reviews. Got this bike and it is fantastic. Delivery guys put the box in our front entry and since it is 65-ish lbs, we managed to get it to its final room without trouble. Awkward to put together, but relatively easy to put together - all steps except 1 is very simple, the 1 slightly harder step we worked out with patience and the direction diagrams. VERY stable. Since my knee is still far from 100%, it was important that this bike not be tippy. It is rock solid and not wobbly in any direction. We have it on carpet. It is also easy to stand up from the bike seat - 2 sets of handles to help and since it is overall stable…very easy to push up and stand. Resistance goes from almost 0 to higher than I can do right now. Smooth action of cycling at my current level. Son took it up multiple levels and really gave it a go - still smooth action. Silent when cycling. Seat and back rest are comfortable - although I added a small pillow on the seat for extra cushion. Also added some c-clamps to front handle to have a shelf for my iPad. Seems solidly built and does not seem like it will fall apart. Small footprint overall, and digital readout runs on batteries (so no cords to trip over). I did not expect a lot for $200 and this FAR FAR exceeds my expectations.

I’ve only used it twice & it’s comfortable, silent, not too hard to assemble (I helped my husband do it), and good value. I love how it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I don’t know if my 6’1” husband could comfortably use it but I sure can at 5’3”. I gave it 4 stars because the resistance isn’t as tough all the way up as I thought it might be but it’s good enough since it does get my heart rate up. If you are in amazing shape you may think the resistance could be more but I’m at beginner level again, needing to improve my health & fitness back to where I was. I think I’ll love watching TV while pedaling. Multi-tasking at its finest!

I absolutely love the Sunny Health & Fitness Smart Heavy-Duty Recumbent Bike! It’s incredibly quiet, making it ideal for home use without any distractions. The bike is solidly built and feels very sturdy once assembled. Assembly does take some time and patience, but if you follow the instructions carefully, it’s straightforward and well worth the effort! The wide cushioned seat and reclining position make it super comfortable, and I love how easy it is to adjust the settings for a personalized workout. The magnetic tension system is smooth, and switching intensity levels is a breeze. The added features like the digital performance monitor and free SunnyFit App are fantastic! Late at night, the recumbent bike finally arrived via UPS. The UPS driver was grateful for the large note I left on my building’s door with my cell number, allowing him to call me instead of having to return the bike to the warehouse. He offered to help me carry the heavy box up the stairs, but I insisted on handling it myself. It was already 10:30 at night, and I urged him to head home. Kudos to the UPS driver for his kindness and efficiency! I unpacked each item from the box, putting them in a bag and making multiple trips up and down the stairs to bring them into my unit. The motor part, the largest piece, was light enough for me to carry up the steps easily. I definitely got my workout in while carrying the parts up and down the stairs to my unit! :) The next morning, I excitedly checked off each of the bike's parts from the manual’s checklist and was ready to start assembling the recumbent bike. I was pleased to find that all the pieces needed to build the bike were accounted for. Thank you! All the necessary tools were neatly packed and numbered in a sealed packet, ensuring that I had everything I needed to put the bike together. Again, thank you! The recumbent bike is a much better option because it provides support for both my back and my kitty. My feline friend would get irritated when I was bent over and pedaling on a stationary bike. Thank goodness for recumbent bikes! The pedaling is remarkably quiet, which is a relief as I live above someone in my Co-Op unit. I purchased the SuperMats Heavy Duty Equipment Mat 12GS, Made in the USA, from Amazon to prevent any vibrations that could come from pedaling. Thank you once more! The bike’s structural components are constructed from steel, so I am confident that it will last a lifetime! Constructing the recumbent bike by myself was a piece of cake, all thanks to the straightforward and well-written instructions! Thank you, Sunny Health & Fitness and Amazon! :):)

Have really come to enjoy the Sunny Health Recumbent bike. Rides smoothly, almost silently. Comfortable to sit in and use. Adjusts to leg-length easily. Seems very durable. With my cell phone, allows for good tracking of exercise. Great value for money!
