  • Don’t waste your money!
Do not buy this product. Do not waste your money! I purchased this product 2 months ago and it broke—not from putting it together—but from the inside of the “motor” aka the large part that comes intact. On top of this machine not lasting 2 months, Amazon is charging me a restocking fee and keeping $70 of what I paid! It’s a total rip off all around. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY. 100% WILL BREAK LIKE OTHER REVIEWERS HAVE POSTED.
BUYER BEWARE. You are basically giving amazon and sunny health $350+ for useless product that cannot be returned or repaired. I have never written a review on Amazon. But I feel the need to let everyone know DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE. You literally get what you pay for. I bought the elliptical September 12, 2020 for me and my roommate to use during the pandemic lockdown. We are both females under 150lbs that only use it for light cardio. It was adequate for the price, noisy but we wanted something quick and cheap. Little did we know how cheap the machine actually was. By November the elliptical was making a VERY LOUD whooshing/whirring noise like a train horn. I reached out to amazon for help and they sent a YouTube video from sunny health to "level" the machine. A month later, the machine returned to making the noise and we couldn't even move the pedals. It sounded like something was scraping internally. We reached out to amazon and because we were out of our 90-day customer support window, I needed to reach out to sunny health for any additional resolutions. I tried calling Sunny health and no one picked up the phone. Then I emailed for support and they waited a whole week to get back to me. Below is the response I received, despite filling out their entire help form with all the information once already! Clearly a stalling tactic to giving me any form of customer service. I am still within the 180-day warranty period but clearly I will need to fix the machine myself. I spent an additional $100 on tools: three different types of socket wrenches, 2 different kinds of crank pullers to try to remove pedals. For every one’s information, the socket required is 16mm for the pedal and the crank puller must be either 25 or 26mm, I gave up trying to take the pedals off and instead ripped the cover off like another reviewer did. (If sunny health is requiring everyone to take apart their own machines, they should provide an owner’s manual that tells exactly tools and sizing you will need.) When I finally took apart the machine, the magnetic wheel was installed crooked and rubbing against the post, causing the scraping noise and prevent the pedals from moving. The drive belt was also installed half-way off it’s wheel which caused the flywheel to be misaligned. I took apart the entire machine and have not be able to manage to put it back together because the tension spring is too strong for me. I have spent every other weekend in 2021 trying to fix this elliptical, sinking more money and time into something that supposed keep me healthy during a pandemic. We have given up on fixing this machine and Sunny Health’s lack of customer service. Their business model must be to intentionally sell products that are constructed only enough to “work” until the machine breaks right out the warranty window so you must buy the parts and figure out how to become an exercise machine mechanic. We have decided to spend our money and buy a Peloton and NordicTrack. Amazon stop selling this garbage product to your customers. ... show more

  • Stride 18 inches !!!
This elliptical is amazing for its price . First off I’m 5’8 about 145 lbs . In order for ellipticals to work for anyone over 5’5 you need a min 18 inch stride. This is perfect size for my apt not some big clunky machine that takes super space . And for the price I break insane amount to of sweat . It doesn’t not have all the bells and whistles that most do but the bottom line is it gives me the exact work out I need without creating a strain elliptical which short strides would do . Hope this helps to anyone over 5’5 took me a long time to find this one and I have zero regrets. ... show more

  • Good Value Purchase
I've owned this for about six months now and it gets used at least five times per week. Understand that I'm reviewing this based on the price and other equipment in this price range, give or take. Obviously, if you spend $2000 you will get a better product. I got one of the last ones available at that time (there was a rush for equipment then), but now it appears it is back in stock. Within this price range it's hard to beat this one. So, here's the good and the bad: The good: 1. Long stride length. It will be hard to find another in this price range with an 18" stride length. And it matters if you're tall. 2. Decent range of resistance, from low to high. Plenty for typical cardio (that can be a subjective I know). The highest setting could be just a touch harder, but it's certainly enough for most people. 3. I find it pretty sturdy. I keep it on a cheap, thin yoga mat, over tiled flooring. Doesn't wobble. I can't say for carpet. Now, more expensive means larger and therefore more sturdy; however, this is just fine. 4. So far, it's reasonably quiet. No squeaks. Eventually I'll need to lube some of the moving parts, but so far so good. 5. The handles and arms are a good range, for longer and shorter arms. And they actually work, in that the resistance can be felt through the handles if you're using them. 6. It's not too large and bulky. The pictures give a pretty accurate idea. One of the things to note is that you'll be about 2' up when you're on it. Tip: stand on your couch - if your head doesn't hit the ceiling you're good, with lots of room to spare. 7. It also goes backwards. This is actually a nice feature in this price range. 8. Generally, a good value ... it will certainly provide the cardio part of a workout program ... like all exercise equipment, the biggest component is the diligence to use it. This is absolutely usable. The bad: 1. The display is basically useless, other than the timer. Now, that doesn't really bother me as I'm not really trying to count calories or track my heart rate, but you're not going to get anything near accurate from the display. It doesn't mean you can't use the equipment for exercise though; it still does what it's supposed to do: provide resistance for cardio. 2. If you wear larger than a size 12 men's shoe, you will have a hard time fitting into the foot plate. I wear a size 12 men's and it's EXACTLY the right length and width. 3. The max weight limit is low. That doesn't matter to me, but it might to some others. 4. It is, quite literally, the hardest piece of self-assemble equipment I've ever put together. It can be done, obviously, but, wow ... it's quite the puzzle. 5. You can't change the ramp angle; however, you'll only get that in the higher end machines, so it's bit unfair to expect it in this price range. It might matter to some folks, though. 6. It's petty, but I really wish it had a bottle holder. You can rig something pretty easily, but I missed it more than I thought I would. Overall, a good value for home equipment in the current environment. If you want to keep costs reasonable and still be able to have a piece of cardio equipment at home, this one will do you. Frankly, you can spend thousands of dollars ... your heart, lungs, legs, and arms aren't going to actually work any harder with for the extra money, but something more expensive will probably last longer. This is pretty well built, but it's not going to last a lifetime or anything. ... show more

  • Could be more sturdy
It is compact and lighter than the traditional size ellipticals. The stride length could be longer. At only 18” it almost feels like a step machine. I am 71 and I work out everyday. I find it a bit awkward getting on the pedals as they are a bit high and there is not much space between them. I have to kind of hop up from behind them also the digital tracker does not reset after your work out. You can manually reset the time but the distance is cumulative. You have to remove the batteries to do a complete reset ... show more

  • Limited Time Use
So it will work for about 60ish uses at 206 lbs. I thought it was great only has one minor issue with a bolt breaking and bending when I first had it. Amazon gladly replaced it. Today I was using it for cardio and it started making a grinding sound and stopped working. Broken and unfixable. In process of getting a refund/ fix for it but it seems the window is too late. Don't buy it get something more expensive. ... show more
