I like it even more than I thought i would . Its very sturdy and really looks nice . Assembly wasn't too difficult if you are a bit handy . I would say 3 people could probably do it in a day . I got mine in the winter and was able to do some of the assembly in the basement prior to actually setting it up , so that helped . I assembled the cross beams and the main roof beam before set up and two of us were able to assemble the whole thing in a day. I did get two wrong parts and had to contact sun joy . You are probably not going to speak to anyone on the phone and its not 24 / 7 customer service , but the were very responsive through email and sent the correct parts out in about 10 days , so i was happy with that . This was a no-brainer for $1900. All other permanent options were well above $7500. Thing is sturdy and looks great. Customized a little and added some gutters since one of the sides is right up against my back screen door. We purchased this gazebo in 2023 for a patio cover. The gazebo was only up for approximately 3 1/2 months when the wind got underneath the roof panels and bent the end panel and blew one of the panels down. Any windy days the air gets underneath the roof panels and lifts them up. It makes awful noises and we worry that more roof panels will be coming off. Original contact with the company said there would be no charge for two replacement roof panels and the end bar that was incorrect when received. Later an email from the company said the price would be $265. Asked what this covered? We were informed $65 for parts and $200 for shipping. How ridiculous is this!!! We will be investing in some wood rafters to try and secure the roof panels. My suggestion is to buy locally so you can definitely see what you are getting for your money. This purchase was definitely a huge mistake and not worth the money we spent on it. Disappointed in the quality of this gazebo and regret this purchase! Love and learn. ... show more

I was VERY IMPRESSED with the way the kit was packaged, designed, and assembled!!! When it arrived, I didn't think everything was in the 2 boxes. So, I was concerned. When we assembled it, I was surprised to see everything was accounted for. We hired 2 people to build it. They had it built and were leaving in 6 hours. The assembly was very accurate. Everything fit and went together just as the instructions suggested. At the time of this writing, the kit is not available. If it was, I would highly recommend it to anyone! If the rest of the Sunjoy Products are as easily assembled and of the quality that this Gazebo was, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! ... show more

It takes a long time to assemble it. About 25 man hours. Sometimes the instructions don’t point out something and you have to go back and fix it. Two people both with a stepladder and ratchet with a ten mm socket would speed up assembly. One of the ladders should be 8 foot tall

After waiting quite awhile our gazebo arrived and we had it assembled and put it up. We thoroughly enjoy it and it is very attractive. But we are concerned we may have a problem. One of the support legs is starting to show a long crack all the way down. Should we apply something to it? This was an expensive item and we surely would like to keep it nice but this crack all the way up and down is a big concern for something that has been exposed to the outdoors for a mere two months. we've had this for a few months now and are constantly getting compliments on it. My husband put it together himself although he would suggest having someone help. It is superior quality for the price. We looked at several options in store and took a gamble here to save some money. It exceeded our expectations.
