As I venture into the chill, calm, meditation world, I find the meditative sounds widely vary. Some has water, rain, bird chirping, instrumental calm sound...etc. If you are not too picky about what specific sound you want, then this CD might just be right for you. The sound in this CD are meditative guitar, ocean waves, rain sounds that are composed to sooth and relax you, and I do find it quite relaxing to listen to it. I also subscribe to Apple Music, so why do I need to purchase a physical CD, you asked? Well, the sounds or melodies coming out of my CD player, which is hooked up directly to my amplifier, just sounds better-more dynamic, more realistic, more true to the original, while listening from my MacBook Pro streamed via bluetooth to my amplified sound a little less dynamic, and slightly flat, the reason why playing through CD is still a *thing* in this time of streaming. ... show more

    • A Prelude to Sleep
The sounds of nature provide a great prelude to a wonderful night's sleep. I find it very calming and relaxing. A great companion for meditation.

These CD's are a wonderful way to promote deep sleep. They are extremely relaxing and instead of taking Melatonin, you can fall asleep naturally.

    • Exactly what I was looking for!
Really enjoying this CD set. It was exactly what I was looking for when searching for natural white noise to play for my toddler during nap/bed time. I have been using a combination of a sound machine and an app on my phone since he was an infant to play similar sounds to those of the waves and soft guitar, but my sound machine has broken down and my app always force closes-both of which cause disruption to his sleep. The hour long sounds are easily looped on the new CD player I bought him and the sound is so clear and realistic. We haven't tried the other two CDs in the set yet but I imagine they are just as relaxing. These have even helped me sleep soundly as well, highly recommend if you are in search of this type of natural white noise! ... show more
