We got the 14’x20’ hard top gazebo from Domi. Arrived well packaged and on time in 9 boxes. Nothing was missing! In fact, they give you extra hardware (screws & nuts). Two or three people can assemble this gazebo, but we had five and I think that’s a perfect number. It took us a total of 9 hours from start to finish (we made a weekend of it - 6 hours first day and 3 hours on the second… make sure to have great music, good food, and ENJOY the process with family and friends. Don’t use the hex wrenches provided - it will take forever. Use a couple of drill drivers - one with a Phillips head, another with a hex head (you will need this the most). Overall, very good quality, and everything fit well ( we did have to drill a couple of holes on two roof brackets to line them up with the panels properly - not a problem ). We organized the hardware in labeled bowls, which worked well for us. We watched a video on YouTube to give us an idea of assembling a hard top gazebo, and that was very helpful.     • This is a nice gazebo, somewhat involved to assemble. Excellent customer service.

This was somewhat of a bear assembly. A lot of parts and Ikea type instructions. It took me 14 hours to complete. You definitely want to skip the tools that come with the product and get a bit and use a power drill with the bit. This is a great looking product. Quality materials and very well engineered. Excellent shipping via Fedex. The boxes (5 of them) were banded and taped and all were perfect when they arrived. I received an email from a representative from the company thanking me for my order and telling what to expect of the deliveries. They said they would contact me to follow up after I received the product. There was a piece that was broken, I contacted the company via the email that I had previously received, he ask for photos. I sent him the photos of the broken part and they promptly shipped me a replacement, via Fedex, from Shanghai China, that was received in Five days. I have had this gazebo for a month and a half. First I must say…it is beautiful. Since putting it together I have been using it just about every day. We have had plenty of rain and some pretty strong winds but it has had no issues. Now here are my issues. First the instructions are not as good as they can or should be. They are way to confusing. I could see anyone who is not use to assembling anything having a heck of a time. Fortunately I am not that person. Secondly attaching the metal roof is harder then it should be. Especially the plastic pieces that come with it. Secondly, I am disappointed that you are unable to purchase a set of curtains separately in case you may need them down the line. Don’t get me wrong but they are not made to last forever with any gazebo so I’d like to have them on hand since the way they are attached would make it harder to purchase elsewhere. Believe me I contacted the company and was told that they don’t sell them separately. Bottom line I love the gazebo. My friends and family love the look (so do I) and I love the sturdiness as well. Still these things should be taken into consideration before buying. If those things don’t bother you, you won’t be disappointed. ... show more

The engineering and quality of the product is excellent. My complaint lies in the assembly instructions which lack in at least two important areas. A tube of adhesive was supplied with no instructions on where to use it. It was meant for small plastic tabs. No mention to calk the four side joints in the center that leaked at the first heavy rain. Great product, been enjoying immensely. ... show more

Beautiful gazebo! Worth the money and time that went into it It took me 14 hours to assemble. I needed assistance for one hour when placing the roof into place. One piece was defective. Domi customer service was great - they sent me a replacement piece. Only negative - it took over a week to receive the replacement piece since it was shipped from China. Looks great when finished and I'm happy we bought it BUT I believed a couples's video my husband and I watched saying it took them two days to assemble. We spent an entire week and three days on it and needed a third person often to help with minor chores, like picking up the Z bars that fell from the roof when we tried to insert them. The roof was the most difficult part. I wish there were more words in the instructions and better diagrams or an instructional video made by the company. The one video they referred me to had me watching the worker's chickens and seeing him meditate. Also, zipping the main curtain up every time you go in or come out is tiring. Magnets on one entry point might have been another option. When I emailed the company, because we had difficulty placing the curtains in the proper place, they said to refer to the directions. Now that it's assembled, I like it but be prepared to spend a lot of time on it. ... show more
