I debated on this purchase but after an estimate of 9k to build an u attached cover/lean too I bit the bullet! And i’m oh so glad i did! Here is what we love * this thing is huge 14x22. i * very nice to look at * did it in 2 weeks. only an hr here and there during the week then the weekends * shipping was great and well packaged. it did take 2 day to get all boxes and tracking was a little confusing. but the last box did show up * Parts nicely labeled (keep them together. we put the smaller items in baggies with their item number on the bag. huge help and time saver *. INVESTORY EVERYTHING. even the screws !’n. we we did this and did not miss one screw, but in the event you run short, you will be livid once you’re in the middle of the build and you are missing part so do yourself a favor open the boxes and do the inventory on everything *. we built ours the week the hurricane came through Georgia and it with stood the weather perfectly. It does not leak and has extended our family time in the backyard 10fold❤️. The not so good!! * also, with the shipping of the six boxes and our one box was missing the customer service with the seller was fantastic as they responded promptly with my concerns, but trust me the extra box should come THE DIRECTIONS !! Although they are correct… they only pictures!! no wording to explain. so some steps you may double guess. but after some trial and error you will figure it out. lol NOT a deal breaker

It took us two days to assemble, with just my husband and me putting it together. As the title says, we purchased it 3 years ago and have absolutely no complaints. The materials are high quality, it’s extremely sturdy, and very well made. Over the years, it has gone through snowstorms, strong winds, and heavy rain, and we’ve never experienced a single leak. It fit our space perfectly and has held up beautifully through all seasons. If you’re looking for a durable, well-built structure that will last for years, I highly recommend it! We purchased this Gazebo in mid-March of 26', and we just finished putting it together last week. Now, it doesn't really take that long to put up, we just didn't have enough hands (you'll need at least 3 sets of hands at certain points, at least we did, 4 people is much better) most of the time, and the weather was about as uncooperative as it could be. We only had weekends when we could get to it, and in NE Ohio, ideal weekends can be hard to come by, but we did manage to finish it. Here's what you need to know.... First of all, this 14'x24' behemoth comes in 7 boxes. A couple of times I thought we were missing parts, but after carefully searching through the boxes, I found them. However, we were actually missing a couple of parts at one point, and I had to contact the distributor and have them send them out; it took two weeks and they wanted pictures of what was missing, part name and number and a picture of it in the instruction manual. It was a pain, but they did send them at no further charge. So, when the boxes show up, go through each one of them and itemize the parts according to the parts list of what you should have received. Secondly, watching a few YouTube videos of these gazebo builds will come in handy for tips. If you follow the instructions in order, you'll find you are assembling one part, only to have to disassemble it later to assemble a different part, and that can be maddening. The instructions are pictures only, no written direction, so in some instances, you really need to sit down and look carefully to see how parts are supposed to go together. Take your time with this, don't hurry it, you'll end up attaching struts one way and then later see it's upside down, look carefully for orientation of the parts. Third, don't tighten down screws until you have all the components in place for any particular section. Wobbly is good during assembly, because you're going to find that lining up holes for screws will require some manipulation, keep things loose to give yourself some wiggle room, you'll need it. Fourth, use a power drill with an Alen head bit, 4 or 6 mm, can't remember exactly which it was. There are a million screws and there is no way your fingers/hands/forearms are going to drive all of them using an Alen wrench unless you are Popeye (huge forearms) Fifth, the roof slats are the greatest test of your determination and character. It's "F-bomb" city up there putting those things in. My recommendation, pay someone else to do it, but if you can't afford to do that and you have to DIY, when it comes to the slats that require the little weather-stripping pieces, don't slide them into the grooves, push them in all at once. Sliding them up the groove causes them to fall off the edge of the slats far too easily; you'll have better results just pushing them into the grooves. Then you'll need at least one other set of hands (best to have 3 sets of hands) to help hold the slats, get them lined up and then fight to get the bolts through the holes. This was sort of funny, some of the slats just went together without a hitch, others were a MMA cage match to get lined up and bolted down. Plan for aggravation, but also a real sense of accomplishment when you put the last slat into place. When it's finally finished and you've taken the maximum recommended dose of Motrin and Xanax, you'll whisper to yourself...it was worth it, but I'll never do it again and if a friend should ask you for help putting his up, you'll be sure to be committed elsewhere that weekend...and any that should follow. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars because the directions seemed to have been organized by a blind person who never even felt a brail picture of this canopy. Except for that, the structure is solid, makes a heck of a lot of noise when it rains hard while sitting under it, looks great. Add a couple of fans and some lights (which I'll be installing this weekend) and you've got a nice little oasis in the middle of a crazy world.

I tried to take a lot of pics while we assembled this. We did it with only two people & it took about 20hrs (a few days). The directions were pretty straight forward, no written instructions, just pictures but it worked. Everything was nicely labeled. The roof was the hardest part for us but after the first few we had it down to a science and it went quite fast. Lots of screws! Some of the pieces came bent as you can see in the pics but we took rubber nose pliers (?) to unbend it w/o scratching it. We absolutely LOVE this and use it daily. We haven’t tried to close the screens yet but I’ll update this review when we do as well as how it holds up throughout the seasons. The only downfall is when it rains it’s so loud bc if the metal roof. Also I show where the water seems to leak more then I’d think t should but my husband says we can try to put a rubber gasket to see if that helps. So yes it’s worth it, no it wasn’t too difficult to assemble & it’s very pretty looking as well.

I'm a planner, I research everything I buy. I almost bought the brand that has a color in its name. In all my research I found a lot of similarities between multiple "brands" on Amazon. I chose this gazebo because of price and other reviews. Shipping was very fast to SW Ohio. We received five boxes the first day and one surprise box the next. The second box was all of the lower roof panels. Having watch countless YT build videos on assembling this type of gazebo's I knew we had to unbox everything and verify parts from the manual. We only had one piece that was damaged in shipping but it was covered up by a corner bracket so it didn't affect the build. We probably have 16 hours total over three days assembling this gazebo. The instructions leave a lot to be desired, especially with the mid span brackets for the lower roof. Pay attention to the orientation of how they land in the corners, do NOT assembly all the brackets until you have one of the short sides set correctly. Leave sections of the roof screws loose until that whole section is complete. There are screw locations that you will need to have the wiggle room to get the screw through both panels and into the support beam. If you take your time you will be rewarded with a very nice gazebo.

Well let me tell you a little about what I did and maybe help someone else out. First I read a lot of the reviews and the things they said and did to assemble this gazebo especially the roof panels. I wasn’t sure what some people were talking about until I started the panels then oh yeah I found out. First the frame was definitely a breeze to put together. I mounted my gazebo on my deck over top of my garage so I wanted it to be able to withstand the wind and storms so I pulled up some deck boards and put in a few 2x6 in between my existing ones where the holes are on the mounting bracket on the bottom of the four posts and drove 6 inch lag screws into the new 2x6s then I thought the small screws that hold the posts on to the mounts weren’t enough to hold it so before I screwed those in I got a tube of loctite PL Max premium and put a nice thick bead on top of the mounting bracket and slid the post into the loctite then put my screws in. Just for extra support. Now the panels. Yes the clips they provide blow!! I saw one guy used two sided tape. Great idea. Those clips go on the angle of the panels then into the corner track on the roof. If you don’t use something to hold them in place you will definitely need therapy during this process. I’ll tell you what I used on the clips. JB Weld Super weld UV light activated glue. I put glue on panel where the clip goes on then when I got the clip on I ran a bead of that glue along the two parts of the clip that clip onto the panel then turned glue pen around and used the UV light on the JB weld to cure it in seconds. That stuff is strong!! Those clips will not move when installing the panels into the corner tracks. The clips are no doubt a design flaw and they could’ve done something better. It looks like they are used to channel rain water but if you don’t use something to hold them in place it will drive you nuts. The guy with the two sided tape comment prevented my insanity before I even started the panels. You will need two people for sure and make sure you get those clips the whole way in the corner tracks or the holes will not line up. Now other than that I do think it is a beautiful gazebo. I got the 12x14 that fit perfectly on my deck. It’s worth the money in my opinion. It took me longer to set it up since I worked during the day then come home and worked a little on it. Next day after finished it rained pretty hard. No leaks. Bonus!! Well hopefully my review helped out on assembly. I would read other reviews and get ideas for the panels. That was a huge help before I even started them.

I can finally use my patio thanks to this gazebo!!! My patio faces the west & I have no trees in my yard nor does the neighbor that is behind me. The sun would make it unbearable! Now, with this gazebo, I can enjoy my patio! I love it! It's beautiful & seems to be very sturdy (we haven't had any really bad weather yet to test that out). 3 people & a couple of at least 6 foot ladders will help immensely during the build. We had 2 people on the ladders & one on the ground preparing the next pieces & helping with anything needed on the underside while putting the panels in place. The reason for 4 stars is due to the instructions & some of the hardware. The instructions are all pictures, no words. Relatively easy to follow, however, there are a few bolts that get put in in one step, that will need to be removed & then replaced in another step. Not a big deal, but would have been easier to figure out if that had been stated when initially putting in those bolts. The curtains & nets aren't universal. Kind of like bed sheets, they have to go on a certain corner to line up. Again, not a big deal, but not shown at all in the instructions. Probably the biggest reason for 4 stars is that some of the longer bolts are not long enough. We quadruple checked, making sure we were trying to use the right bolts. They were not quite long enough to go where they were needed. Thankfully, it's only a few bolts per side so we were able to skip them to complete the build, then we just bought the right size bolts to put in those spaces. Pretty minor issues, but for the cost of this gazebo, you expect better. 😏 Overall, would definitely recommend this gazebo!
