This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The Kozyard Gazebo has received largely positive reviews from customers, who praise its sturdiness and aesthetics but take issue with the frustrating assembly process. The gazebo's roof, while sometimes prone to issue, has received praise for holding up to a variety of weather conditions. Replacement parts do seem to be available, which can add to the longevity of the product.

Pros

  • 🔨 It's sturdy and durable, standing up to varying weather conditions.
  • 😍 The gazebo is aesthetically pleasing and adds elegance to outdoor spaces.
  • 👍 Replacement parts are available, contributing to product longevity.

Cons

  • 🔩 Assembly can be confusing and frustrating as per multiple reports.
  • 🏜️ The roof appears to radiate considerable heat in temperatures exceeding 90°F.
  • 💧 Few customers reported that the roof leaks at the rivets.

Should I Buy It?

If you don't mind spending some time on the assembly process and potentially dealing with some minor issues like heat radiation and roof leakages, then the Kozyard Gazebo offers durability, available replacement parts, and attractive design worth considering.

  • Good Value
Size: Edward 10ftx12ft
Pleased with the product, though a bit shorter than my last similar gazebo that was 2-3 inches taller. At 6'-3", I barely clear the roof rails when walking into the gazebo. Seems spacious inside and a benefit of the lower ceiling is the ability to more easily reach a ceiling fan. I replaced an older gazebo when the polycarbonate panels failed after 10 years and the cost of a new gazebo was similar to the cost of replacement panels The assembly was relatively easy, though as others have mentioned, the rectangular center panels are shorter than the opening, so they must be slid downward during assembly. This was somewhat confusing, as all of the other triangular shaped panels are fully engaged upward toward the peak. Additionally, the "finishing bars" around the edge perimeter of the roof are challenging and an exercise in patience to install, not the best design. I installed Polk Atrium 6 speakers in the corners and a ceiling fan in the center hook. The speaker brackets were installed by drilling two holes and utilizing the extra screws included with the gazebo. I drilled one hole in the corner roof bar and the second hole in the post/"pole". The wires were fished down through the corner poles and under the deck. ... show more

  • TAKE YOUR TIME
Size: Edward 10ftx12ft
It took about 4 hours with 2 of us doing the set up. Take your 1st hour and pull all the parts out and make sure they are all there and not damaged. The 4 base plates had to have the screw part bent back vertical. Probably got slightly bent in shipping. Be careful not to bend it to far. A couple of the fastener rods for roof were slightly depressed in the slide part for roof. Took a flat head screw driver and just widen the gap a little so the slats slid in. Suggest building it where it goes, would be hard to move after putting together. Don't tighten roof pieces until slats are in, you need the give so it will be straight at end. Then go around and tighten everything. Instructions were fine. All parts there. Looks really nice. Double check you slats so the right side is facing sun. I suggest taking protection film off each one as you put them up. ... show more

  • Late delivery
Size: Edward 10ftx12ft
I would have given a 5 star review if it hadn't been delivered 8 days late. It was not the suppliers fault, it was the carrier. However, once carrier is secured for the shipper, the carrier then becomes the face of the supplier. All items were packaged well and no missing parts. Instructions were pretty decent. As a 68 year old woman, I was able to put the entire gazebo together by myself except for one of the 12 ft side rails. ... show more

  • Very well packed and organized for assembly
This gazebo is very well engineered and thought out. It will fulfill all our needs for our spa: will keep snow off in winter, mosquitoes out in spring, and blowing needles and leaves out in the fall. It was somewhat challenging to assemble. The very top center piece is tricky so be sure not to bend it. The instructions could explain more thoroughly how to get this top structure up without bending it. Using a power drill helps the assembly process. All in all it is a very well designed and sturdy gazebo. ... show more

  • Probably the best gazebo for the money
Size: Edward 10ftx12ft
This came quickly after ordering. I threw this up in about 6 hours by myself going slow and reading the directions several times to make sure it was assembled correctly the first time around. I thought it was pretty easy, I read some of the other reviews about the directions being lack luster. I personally thought the directions are clear and everything is very simple to get together. The entire structure is pretty solid. It can still be moved around if needed. I was worried about strong winds so I used rock and netting on all 4 corners to further anchor the structure. I didn't want to drill in the concrete even though that's the best option to keep it secure. I absolutely love the privacy and bug netting. Very easy to use and works great. The only thing I would like to add is weights to the bottom to keep it from blowing around. The roofing seems very cheap. However, I think it was last a very long time and maybe even better than other materials. I think it will have great sun/temperature reduction in the summer. It also makes for easy replacement if it should ever break. It even has a spot to hang something in the center. I will be adding a fan come summer. I would 100% buy again and have already recommended this to several friends. ... show more

  • Lasted 2 years at best
Size: Edward 10ftx12ft
Only lasted for 2 years. I thought for sure I would get 5 years out of the gazebo but the legs are made from thin aluminum. The screws came loose from the feet and the wind picked it up and it landed on my neighbors house. Not worth the money.

  • Very sturdy!
Size: Edward 10ftx12ft
This thing is a tank. Just assembled it then a week later a nasty snow storm blew through and flipped it before I could anchor it down. That's the first photo. Second photo is showing it was perfectly fine. I would but another if I had a use but 100% recommend!
