I've been using the palette Tan/Deep on my combo oily, early 40s skin, and overall I really like the flattering shades, but it's definitely a product that requires a bit of intention to get the best results. The formula sits nicely on the skin without looking chalky. The blush gives a warm sun-kissed flush that looks beautiful against my warmer undertones. I was surprised, the blush is very pigmented, so a light hand works best. It just takes a bit more control during application. The highlighter gives a nice soft glow, but on my skin it can bring out a bit of texture or make my face look fuller when I applied it too close to my undereyes, so I tend to keep it higher on the cheekbones. I also like to apply the highlighter directly onto my cupid's bow and chin. Overall, this palette is beautiful but not completely forgiving. The payoff is there, the shade is gorgeous. The mirror size is perfect, and the case is pretty, but it feels plasticky.

This is the Charlotte Tilbury blush and highlighter in the shade Tan/Deep. The lighter and pinker version for Light or Medium skin tones has been around a while. I was surprised that it contains talc because a lot of cosmetics are phasing out talc because of EU regulations. There is a 24 month period of freshness after opening. Tan/Deep shade: This palette is meant for tan or deep skintones. Like most CT products it is very warm toned. There is a terracotta blush. This blush has a good deal of strong orange and umber pigments. It's not a rosy or muted kind of terracotta. It's more of a sunset color. This won't look ashy on deep skin tones because there is no gray or pastel pigment. It's a pure and intense color. The highlighter is pretty unique because it has no glitter. It just has a candlelit sheen. It's more neutral than the blush. It is a bronze with multicolor, prismatic shifts. Use: I have pale skin so I have to use this blush with a very light hand. Terracotta and brown blushes are trending at the moment. Peach blush would be easier for me to wear but It's not the same effect. This blush, if applied lightly, gives me a fading sunburn look I like. The bronze is not a highlighter color on my skin tone. I use it over the blush as a topper to soften the color. Quality: The quality was great. It's very finely milled and pigmented blush and the highlighter is unique and doesn't have a drugstore equivalent. This is a "sticky" blush. It stays put exactly where you put it. I think that comes from the rice powder, which is a mattifying ingredient in cosmetics. This budgeproof quality did frustrate my efforts to diffuse the blush to suit my light skin tone. But in fairness this product is meant for people with deeper skin tones. I had to take care to lightly apply it because once it is on it doesn't budge. This makes it less blendable than other blushes but also longer lasting. It was easier to apply lightly and blend out with a natural hair brush. It tended to stick to a synthetic brush. Synthetic bristles picked up more color. Presentation: It has a beautiful, rose-gold compact with a mirror. Unfortunately the shiny surface picked up a lot of fingerprints. Value: This was a surpringly good value for a luxury product. This seems like a slim compact and it is called a mini. But it holds a lot of product at 7.5g or 0.26 oz. That is more than most blushes have. This product is multi-purpose because the highlighter makes a nice eyeshadow shade.
