The textured matte black finished industrial styled telescoping pipework steel rod is adjustable from 36-66” to fit a variety of window sizes and projects 3.75” from the wall. Use on larger windows in larger rooms, like your bedroom, dining room, or living room to hang light, medium, or heavyweight curtains. It is ideal for hanging curtains with grommets and can be used with clip rings. Pair with Sun Zero curtain panels (sold separately) to maximize energy saving, light blocking, and noise reducing features. If you like the industrial look or if you want a curtain rod that wraps around the sides to block light, then this is a great, inexpensive option. The curtain rod and all support brackets are metal with a powder coating, not cheap, flimsy plastic like many of the other similar options. Others noted that due to the powder coating, it is hard to slide the curtains but I have not had that issue. It is easy to install, includes all of the hardware and it takes about 5 minutes. You will need a drill because you need to use the hollow wall anchors to secure the end brackets and middle support. The rod screws into the end brackets so you can easily remove or add curtain panels even after the curtain rod is installed. I have 5 heavy blackout curtain panels installed and it doesn't sag in the middle even though it is about 116" long. I would definitely recommend. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Nice and easyto use! also you can do it along if you have a ladder just make sure you have your ruler or leveler then screw in both side then put your curtains on the rod and then screw the rod into the post!

I love the look of this rail. I had never considered this style before, and I really do love it. I purchased it for the drapes to hang over my sliding door to the deck, so it would be holding drapes that would be opened and closed regularly. With that said, it only works with certain types of drapes. I purchased the rail first and tried out some of the curtains I have on hand. Curtains with pockets, did not work. The texture on the bar snags on fabric and does not allow for easy opening and closing, in fact, it's quite difficult. You have to use curtains that have grommets or have curtain hangers, otherwise, you can't open them easily because of the texture of the rod. Fortunately, I bought some curtains, that I love, that have grommets and they work just fine. Otherwise, I probably would have returned them to find a rod that described the texture as smooth so more drapes could work. Finally, I purchased the longer rod so that it had a chance of being secure with 4 panels without the middle hook. While it is pretty sturdy with the inner center bar covering most of the length of the rod, we still had to put the center holder in. Since we open the curtains regularly and sometimes, not so carefully, we felt it was best to install the center holder to secure it. but overall, I think it's pretty sturdy compared to other rods I've seen. ... show more
