These are strong and functional. I feel there is a huge flaw with the design, I guess if it says in the description I missed it? There are two lengths to choose from as it comes. Either the shorter way with both ends together or you can insert the additional center rod to make it longer. Way longer. No adjusting to desired length by expansion. Thankful these worked for my smaller windows but dang what if I needed to install the brackets a tad farther away? Would have had to return these. I am however going to purchase a few more for the rest of the small windows in my home because they did work for us but overall I would of liked to have a choice on how long I wanted it within it’s specs and it be adjustable and not just two options. ... show more

These were not true to size. After a while I just got frustrated and put them up in the closet where they sit today I kept trying to add extensions to them but again I got frustrated so I threw him in the closet and they still fit right there right now

What a unique way to have a curtain rod. It is very sturdy once assembled. The screw heads were not of high quality and tended to strip out. But that said, once I tapped the holes, they worked okay. I would buy it again.
