Okay soooo where are you, planning to put this? If it's anywhere where you will frequently be using the curtains you're hanging from this, then it's a hard no. This doesn't seem sturdy enough to support heavy duty curtains or frequent use. However, if you're using this to hang a few flimsy curtains in a rarely used guest bedroom such as myself, it's a decent low cost option. Also to note, when it says the size range of this I assumed it was adjustable by sliding it like many other curtain or shower rods. This is not the case. It is 4 separate pieces that twist onto one another so it's not completely customizable in size. Depending on how many of the pieces you use it can be one of 4 very specific sizes. Because of this the length of the rod over my window is kinda weird and not the right proportion but again-i put it in a room i wasn't too particular about. I'm sure this is specified in the item details but for anyone else who isn't gonna take the 30 secs to read that..just know that's the situation with these. So ya, good if you're just trying to throw something together.
