I got it for my porch, i wanted to put it on the ceiling and it took me 5 minutes to intall it with a power drill. Mine wasn't missing any piece. You DO need the middle holder if you wanna fully extend it using all three rods. The only thing they could do better, is making the rod holder screw holes smaller, since i put it in the ceilling, i feel like if i pull down the curtain too strong, the rod holder will come out. ... show more

Overall, I am very satified with the 1" Industrial "Look" Curtain Rod. Originally, I went to the "big box" hardware store to purchase plumbing hardware to accomplish the same look myself. The store was out of black 1"x 5ft. plumbing pipe, and I didn't feel like running from store to store looking for all the pieces needed to put it together. I'm soooo thankful the big box store came up short. The curtain rod package came complete and was well packaged. The rod and bracket have a little heft to them, and don't feel as flimsy as some rods I've ordered previously. I'm a bit handy with with tools and measuring, so I had this up within half an hour, and that's while taking my time and watching tv. The main negative would be the supplied screws, which are thin and seem fragile. I used my own screws and the brackets are holding solid against the wall. For reference, I'm using these to hold up (2) 62"x95" heavy duty blackout curtains I also purchased on Amazon. The rod looks great and no complaints so far! ... show more

I love the industrial look of them, and the way they allow the curtain to wrap around. The only issue I found was installing it. If you use the middle support, you'll want to place it where the center pole, connecting the two outer poles is. It seems to be a bit shorter than the ends.

This is my third purchase now of this Rod. I have two downstairs and just put up one in my room. I use with 1.6” rings with clips for my curtains. This rod is sturdy and can hold my heavy velvet drapes wonderfully. I will be purchasing more for my other two bedrooms, the price is well worth it for what it is and how lovely it looks. Putting up isn’t that bad of a hassle, make sure to have a level and a drill. Pretty simple installation ... show more
